pull away here in the afternoon. the storm itself is going to be strengthening to our east. that's going to allow those winds to develop. northeastly winds will start to pick up not so much during the day today but overnight and by tomorrow morning, notice we're 40 miles per hour so that wind is going to be noticeable especially along the coastline. in terms of how much rain, one of our commuter models. notice it's a widespread half an inch of rain but closer to an inch likely. then along the south coast, the cape and the islands. beneficial rain coming on in. that wind is strong overnight and into the day tomorrow but really not that nice looking for your veterans day. notice we have wet and kind of raw conditions in the morning hours through about midday and then we'll slowly dry it out by the evening. so outdoor plans tomorrow will contend with some of that wet weather. could be a few more showers on thursday afternoon and then just like that, clearing it out on friday. looks like a lot of sunshine but cooler temperatures this weekend. let's get you out to the dry roads at least for now, kevin brennan. kevin: cindy, thank you very much. overall we're in pretty decent shape. all the work crews downtown have
