right now, one person is injured in this powerful fire in new hampshire. flames broke out inside the historic armant inn in campton overnight. one person was inside a bedroom. the man refused treatment and is ok. the cause of the fire is under investigation. new details about a fiery plane crash in ohio that killed everyone on board. a prominent florida executive is among the deceased. elizabeth hur reports the aircraft was trying to land at another airport when something went wrong. >> there was some sort of explosion. elizabeth: a plane plunging into a neighborhood, erupting into flames. it sounded like an explosion that stunned eyewitnesses, including this woman video chatting at the time of the crash. >> oh my god. >> you just don' t think a plane would drop in a residential area like this. crazy.

elizabeth: police confirmed there were no survivors on the plane and this woman says her sister was one of nine people on board. >> between the siblings, we started doing some detective work and made some calls and checksum flight plans and put two and two together. elizabeth: the jet can carry up to 10 passengers and left dayton for akron. something went wrong less than a mile from its destination and the plane crashed into an apartment building. a woman would have been home if not for her son. >> if i don' t meet my son on there. >> shock, disbelief, we just want to know what happened. all. the pilot and copilot were killed. this morning , a real estate company based in florida said in a statement that they lost seven

today. that unpopular war forced many troops to hide their service. jack harper found that even today vietnam veterans struggle to talk about the experience. >> my first 10-15 years out of it, i would not admit to anybody that i was a vietnam veteran. there was kind of a stigma back then. >> it went on for years. there was no 9/11, no clear threat to us, they were there with orders and without support of many americans. >> the young people don' t understand with the hippie movement was and the peace movement and all of this. to this day, we still can' t tell them why we were in vietnam. nobody really knows. >> most of the population in the dormitory is vietnam veterans. out of the 202 veterans, most of them are vietnam or vietnam-era. >> jim smith is convinced the poor reception gis got was more than some could stand.

the doctors are analyzing hundreds of brain samples, looking forces a call -- looking for physical simples that show signs of pts. their findings will help tailor treatments to veterans living with the condition now. >> there are certain treatments that reduce inflammation, certain treatments that he' ll blood vessels. if any of these structures are going haywire, then we can focus our treatment. researchers from around the world can apply to also study these brain samples. >> the hope is to learn as much as we can as quickly as we can about posttraumatic stress. we invite you to join us tonight for a special hour-long event hosted by randy price. it will give veterans a chance to share their stories and gives you a chance to help those who have given so much. that is tonight at 7:00 on channel 5 thing.

a strong storm system racing east. dozens of flights have been canceled out of denver after a foot fell in some spots. it could trigger tornadoes. more white out conditions in utah, new mexico, nebraska, and colorado. massachusetts, in particular the cape and the island. we have had reports of two inches of rainfall from this island. boston just over a half-inch. look at worcester. some areas did not see as much as others. the rain itself is not going to continue, it will drizzle. some of the mist may linger near the coast line up until the evening hours. also along the coastline is where we are finding our the advisory continues through 7:00 this evening. the wind is still gusting over 30 in beverly. 37 miles per hour on nantucket right now. the storm center is starting to pull away. we are starting to get the winds on the backside coming more out of the north and northeast. we are getting these rain bands. the rain bands pivoting around the backside of the storm.

there is another potent one coming into northern worcester county. we are seeing some heavier downpours from marshfield to plymouth. outside of that, it is generally lighter rain. light to moderate rain upon toward manchester, new hampshire with pockets of some heavier rain embedded with that as well. temperatures only in the mid 40' s through the merrimack valley. worcester, 44. it does feel colder than that with the wind. we do have some lower 50' s out on the cape. temperatures hold where they are, if not fall a few degrees, through the afternoon. you can see that on future cast over the next couple of hours the aerial coverage of the rain continues to shrink up. along the coastline, you cannot rule out the pockets of mist and drizzle lingering into the early evening hours. the clouds to linger right through tomorrow morning. our low temperatures do not fall off too much tonight. lower 40' s right along the coast line.

s storm moves on out, the one from denver is coming in tomorrow. behind it, we will have another round of stronger when coming in on the backside of this system. we are in a fast pattern right now. it is a small break in the action. it happens for us tomorrow morning. we will have out with a fair amount of clouds tomorrow morning. shower start to approach from the west. they will start to move in during the afternoon hours. i expect the rain to be on the lighter side. overnight, we do dry it out. the winds do really pick up on friday. they may gust over 20 miles per hour. that westerly wind is going to push the temperature up a little bit on friday to up near 60 degrees. colder air comes in for the weekend. saturday, highs in the lower 50' s. near 50 on sunday. bright sunshine for your weekend. by tuesday of next week, we are back in the lower 60' s.
