trains and buses starting the morning on schedule. emily: breaking news on a belgian. police are conducting new raids. randy: and they are looking in molenbeek for the entourage of a suicide bomber. his name is bilal hadfi. he is one of three men who blew himself up outside a soccer trading. emily: right now new york is on alert after the new video from isis. that video appears to threaten times square but police are sending a different message this morning. randy: erica tarantella following the overnight developments. erika: the is is message meant to intimidate new yorkers less than a week after the paris attacks. but the terror group released to this video yesterday identify new york as a potential next target. it shows what appears to be a fighter preparing for a suicide bombing with images of new york' s times square. the police commissioner said some of the footage is old but

mayor bill de blasio urging new yorkers to go about their normal routines and trust in police protection. mayor deblasio: the people of new york city will not be intimidated. we understand it is the goal of terrorists to intimidate and disrupt our democratic society. we will not submit to their wishes. erika: the mayor went on to say there is no specific threat against new york. the city launched a critical response command, an elite arm of the counterterrorism bureau that will eventually have 500 members part of a broader force of 35,000 officers. emily: a boston man is under arrest and charged in the stabbing death that left his own mother fighting for her life. frank holland is life with the overnight developments. frank: that arrests started with a tense showdown with police officers this morning. matthew davis will face a judge as his mother continues her battle with life-threatening

injuries. cameras were there last night as apartment on river street. police say the 42-year-old on tuesday. the police say she was still able to tell officers it was her son who attacks are. apartment in dorchester. accused of brutally stabbing his mother reached for a knife tucked in his waistband as they tried to arrest him. they were able to get him in handcuffs. davis is expected to be arraigned later this morning on assault and battery charges. randy: a double tragedy for a local football legend. doug flutie, his parents both died yesterday within an hour of each other. his dad dick who was ill at a hospital died of a heart attack. surely afterward, his mom had a sudden heart attack and passed away. the couple had been married for 56 years.

murder and arson. he is accused of striking his parents in their home. and then burning the house on march, 2014. he was caught in florida in june. police of identify the victim in a deadly hit and run. police say 19-year-old francis fortuna was struck and killed tuesday night on mechanic street while walking to work. his body was found wednesday morning. police are questioning the driver who they say told police he was involved in accident on that street. so far no arrests have been made. emily: a tornado and snow. some wild weather is getting much of the country. we are pretty much seeing everything right now. cindy: we have been tracking this is some all week. and it is finally pushing into our area but certainly will not be anything like they have been dealing with in other parts of the country. take a look at this in washington state. floodwaters are now being blamed for three deaths. the state of emergency is in effect. tens of thousands of people are still in the dark after tuesday' s powerful storms.

surveillance video is what the jury saw yesterday. the surveillance video shows colleen ritzer walking out of her classroom to the bathroom. philip chism scene and the video checking to make sure the coast is clear before he follows her in. prosecutors say he was in the bathroom for 11 minutes before walking out with what appears to be a bloody hand. prosecutors say he returned minutes later with a recycling bin. then dumped her body behind the school. chism did not react to the video but he did talk to the judge after refusing to come into the courtroom on tuesday. >> do you want to give up that right to be present and be here, to confront, see the witnesses and see the cross examination? eve -- died last night of a phenyl overdose. leslie is accused of giving her heroin laced with the painkiller. court documents that she provided the drug so that she would calm down after not meeting an online acquaintance . they say they told her mother and her boyfriend, who are charged in the death, to get their story straight for police. a rhode island state is under fire for a muslim e-mail she sent. her name is elaine morgan. e-mail was meant for a constituent, but it was instead sent to other lawmakers. in the e-mail, she says syrian refugees should not be welcomed in rhode island because muslims want to " murder, rape and to tap -- decapitate anyone who is non-muslim."
