6:17 pm
happened delman will be available. harvey: it is cold. it is cold throughout the area and we are experiencing decent wind which is adding to the chill it is down to 28 in orange. you know the air is cold down here. the wind gusts exist in eastern mass. it is a race as to how quickly the less wind moves in or the diminishing wind. but even if that happens the temperature will fall even more. if the wind keeps up, the temperature keeps up a little bit. no matter how you look at it, it will be cold. the windchills are down to 20 degrees in worcester and i would not be surprised if the wind chills drop into the upper teens at times the air temperature is 29 with the start of the game. the wind could still be gusting 20 or higher that's how you could get windchills in the upper teens.
6:18 pm
factor later in the game as the temperatures slide through the 20s. y yes it will be cold. boston gets down to 28 or 7 and it has been 31 for the lowest temperatures so far this season. another cold day similar to today. a little cloudiness, but a good deal of sun. the high temperatures may be up a notch or two in the afternoon. as chilly as it is now, the things will really change later this week. look at the high temperature i am predicting. 20 degrees milder and up to 62. worcester going from 39 tomorrow to a 59 on friday. so we will certainly see a trend of warmth. once we see this chilly high pressure move to our east and the winds will shift around to a southerly direction. as for the next seven days in general there is your story form. your story. we will start to get stormy weather to the northwest. it will start to move farther
6:19 pm
to the east while we are still cold and dry on wednesday. we start to see some rain toward the middle of the country and still snow in the far west. still nice in the east. we may have low clouds and a little ocean breech to start. but then the sun should go to work midday and afternoon and starting out in the 30s and earlier in the day until the start of the high school football games to 50 by the end. many may see high temperatures over 50. warmer on friday. if you are doing any shopping you will do it with mild temperatures on friday. even if you are doing it after midnight thursday night and friday. that's the front that will cross the region on saturday. it will cause a band of showers and quickly take the temperatures down so that by saturday night and sunday we will see temperatures as they year. saturday is 55 and probably around dawn with the temperatures falling as the cold air moves in. except for late friday night and saturday morning i think most of the seven days will be

6:21 pm
harvin and kyle williams. both teams know each other well and there is a lot of familiarity. even though you play the same team and play there the same they match up differently and they are called at different times. we just have to see how it plays out. we are prepared for the game. >> one of the things they have to do is contain the elusive quarterback. with more on that story let's swing it on over to bob. reporter: lynchy when you start talking about the quarterbacks in any patriot game, advantage tom brady. that's true once again this evening as the patriots prepare to face taylor for the second time. brady has the highest quarterback rating in the nfl. but rex ryan likes to say that taylor has the third highest. he is efficient and he leads in the offense scoring 25 points per game.
6:22 pm
good enough for tom brady to take notice. >> they have good match ups so they have a lot of confidence. when the coach says you have this guy and you will match him and shadow him, they do a good job. it was disappointing to see from my study they were playing as well as they were. >> in that week two match up, thea pick up off taylor three times, but since then taylor has only been picked off once in 146 throws. lynchy he is playing better and so are the bills. >> rex ryan is hoping to pull closer to the patriots in the afc east and stay alive. coming up live at 8:00, bob halloran will go live not only brown.
