5:18 pm
as they get closer to our neighborhood. right now we are dry as we look and zoom in closer to us. we really just have low-level clouds around and they are going to stay with us as we head through the overnight hours and into first thing tomorrow morning. we are going to start out dry tomorrow. so as you are headed into work you should be good to go. after 12:00 or so all bets go off. you notice the showers are starting to knock on the doorstep at 1:00. and they're everywhere from worcester to boston to the south shore of the cape and even the islands. it will be more numerous and widespread as we get deeper into the afternoon and into the overnight hours. that's why my rain chances are on the way up on tuesday afternoon and into the evening and into the overnight. i do think we will get a brief break in the action, but then things will ramp up on wednesday afternoon into the evening. when all is said and done how much are we talking about? anywhere from half an inch to an inch in some locations and we could use that rain.
5:19 pm

5:20 pm
as you look on the future cast this is what i'm talking about the potential for freezing rain. we are right around 34 degrees in orange and 36 in pittsfield. notice as the rain comes in the temps come up and we are in the midto upper 40s especially by the coastline. then the heavier rain comes in about 10:00, 11:00 even at night tomorrow night. highs tomorrow really warming into the mid40s and a few upper 40s and maybe even 50 degrees on nantucket. staying slightly cooler and only warming into the low 40s. so again the rain chances are ramping up through the day tomorrow and they continue also into wednesday. so let's break down tomorrow for you and time out the rain. we start out dry in the morning, but by 5:00 the downpours are around. if you are headed home from work it is going to be a wet ride home. through the overnight hours, we will get a break into early
5:21 pm
