a third member of the same crew did survive but was seriously injured. the survivor was able to signal an air force rescue helicopter with a flashlight. no patients were on-board. the cause of the crash remains under investigation. this is new at 5:30, the search for a long lost brother. five siblings in indiana put up this facebook post and it reads, you were born june 10, 1963. you're our older brother. their mother says she was forced to give up her firstborn child in 1963. now the family wants to find him. >> in birmingham, alabama, they the fight broke out. the council meeting was going along as usual until the mayor and a councilman went into an office to discuss something privately. discussion because there was a lot of fighting. headlock by lunde.

jail. >> investigators are in nashville to figure out why a passenger jet slid off the runway into a ditch. it happened to this southwest airlines jet which had just landed in houston and while taxying to the gate something happened with one of the plane's wheels. it's possible it blew a tire. it skidded off the runway. passengers say the plane made an unusually hard landing. >> all of a sudden we heard a shudder and swerved off into a ditch the flight attendants told us down, down, down. >> eight passengers suffered minor injuries. the plane's nose and one engine were also damaged. you want to keep your eyes on the left side of the screen. this is from china. yes, that's a tractor, takes a turn through an intersection and right as you can see into the path of an oncoming gravel truck

that you see that's the possibilities of drizzle scattered around the region during the course of tomorrow morning. eventually we get into the rains. that will be during the course of tomorrow afternoon, especially later in the afternoon, into tomorrow night with a few heavier bands before it diminishes later tomorrow night. on friday a lot of us may be rain-free. another little wave of low pressure tries form and it may lock in damp weather. dry off to the north and west. how much rain could we get? i think this is confined is kind of the upper range of what can happen. not different from what happened on our last rain events. we're still down about 10 inches in boston in terms of rainfall for the year. it's the second storm, where we saw the rain developing in the southeast that comes across our region. at the end of the day tomorrow and into tomorrow night. it goes beyond us with a little batch of rain near the cape on friday. following that, something that

very much, actually cold air with some wind gusts. saturday will be one of colder so far this season because of the wind afternoon may only be like in the upper 30's. actually a bit of a wind chill but in the pattern we're in, it won't stick because as we get toward christmas week we'll find ourselves on the mild side of the jet stream most of the week. now, just how warm it gets is a little bit in question. i know you've heard probably predictions. i'm not quite sure just how warm yet but i do know it will be above average. at times much above. but also this could be a conduit for moisture that may come up from the southeast so we may have a couple of rain episodes during next week leading into christmas. here are the temperatures now. as i mentioned, very late tonight and first thing tomorrow, southern new hampshire and north-central massachusetts right around 32 degrees. by later tomorrow it's in the 40's there and even in the 50s south of boston. something that keeps repeating over and over again.
