reporter: he was cleared of some charges, but convicted on misdemeanor sexual assault. this is owen labrie, and free prison sentence. he is a registered sex offender. since his conviction, the 20-year-old insisting he has done nothing wrong, telling "newsweek" in an exclusive interview, it was the only thing that sustains me, knowing i had told the truth. i walked out of the courthouse with my chin up. >> he is adamant about his innocence, but he is also resigned to the consequences. reporter: owen labrie expressing no regret for not agreeing to plea deals.
