mass and western connecticut. some of these could come across later on this evening. we will be cloudy and we have some fog developing overnight. and then we watch this area of low pressure and this cold front. this is going to be our next weather maker. it will be bringing us rain beginning as early as tomorrow morning. rain chances are on the way up. especially i think tomorrow afternoon. we will be dry on wednesday morning. but then wednesday night into christmas eve morning it will be another period of wet weather. so let's time out the showers tomorrow. at 5:00, cloudy skies and maybe one or two showers around. but notice by about 8:00 or so, more showers are on the doorstep. they are going to start to become more widespread. that will be say after lunchtime. and they are filling in and the ride home from work will be western points east. it may be the cape and the
5:49 pm
more showers and we warm up into the low 50s and mid50s in boston. it is the south shore whereas concord new hampshire may stay in the upper 40s and low 50s for the highs. and then behind the system we will watch more chances for rain beginning on wednesday night and into thursday. another warm front will lift. the rain is here and it continues through the evening and into the overnight. and that brings in really warm air for christmas eve. the record high temperatures for boston is 61 for christmas eve. we will break worcester's record too and even christmas day we will be sunny with temperatures in the upper 50s and the low 50s and the 40s as we head toward next weekend. heather?
