we are live in boston with the top story. reporter: well, bob and pam, that man accused of attacking a boston police officer on friday does remain in jail and faces a slew of charges, saub on a police officer causing disorderly conduct. and there are multiple people walking through the area while the attack was happening. just hours into the hour, a violent attack. it's difficult to see in this video released by boston police but say an officer was sitting in his cruiser when a man walked up to him and he yelled you heard about the war and he began punching him. and the officer fought back. when cruisers pulled up, the

and tried to scala fence. the officers say, he was yelling, you are all doomed. in a statement, the police commissioner commended the officer saying he defended himself without the use of a baton, pepper spray, even though the situation may have warranted it. and worth mentioning this was a tactical cruiser filled with weapons. so when those cruisers pulled up, you could here mention of securing the weapons. as that officer was being punched in the face, he was trying to communicate with his fellow officers to protect and secure those weapons in his vehicle. pam: boston globe employees' meeting to get their sunday morning home delivery

more than 100 reporters and editors have volunteered to deliver the paper to frustrated readers. "globe" executives say it will improve service but the transition got off to a rocky start. they hit the streets armed with newspapers and flashlights. bob: a disturbing discovery in a parking lot, weapons seized and a man under arrest. the suspect arrested before the hockey game. it included a sword and a stun gun. we have the story from foxborough. reporter: a stun gun, a sword, a slingslot, these are weapons allegedly found in bronson's car. foxborough police say they were called to a parking lot for gillette stadium employees.

they say he was intoxicated and threatened three witnesses with an object. the incident happened just a few hours before the opening faceoff of the winter classic. police say it is not connected to gillette and bronson is not an employee. two days ago, employees escorted bronson out of this hotel. the property is right across from the parking lot. bronson is no stranger to law enforcement with arrests in granby, connecticut. also in 2014, he reportedly held connecticut state police at bay in a nine-hour standoff. he will be arraigned on monday including three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon.

clinton holds rallies in new hampshire for his wife and just 20 miles away, donald trump is in low well. bob: black lives matters protestors. this video. and it is in response to the shooting of tamir rice. a grand jury decided not to indict. a woman is injured following a house fire on martha's vineyard. she was airlifted to mass general. the fire broke out at 1:00 a.m. on pennsylvania after in oak bluffs. another person was in the home but was not injured. the cause is under investigation. pam: an 11 month old was hurt and later died. the fire chief in alexandria, new hampshire says it is suspicious. no one was living in the home for about a month.

reporter: crime tape surrounds this home in alexandria after a fire tore through. >> when we arrived we had fire out the window and pretty well involved structure. reporter: crews were on scene for hours. the chief believes this fire is suspicious. >> we refused to put anybody in the building. it was an attack for us. reporter: no one was inside at the time. >> the property has been vacant. reporter: same house where an 11 month old was injured in november and later died from the injuries. his death was ruled a homicide, but no arrests have been made in connection with his death. however, the 29-year-old, a person living in the home at the time of the incident is in custody for possessing child

ocean or pushes it inland and we will be watching it carefully. the snow doesn't get going until monday evening. early tuesday a few clouds around. i don't think it will be a threat for us. this snow is the type that is very light and powdery. it may get close enough. we may get some in plymouth county but most will be out in the outer cape. again, this will be happening on monday, especially monday night. tomorrow, 40 degrees. there is your ocean-effect snow on monday. cold on tuesday. about 10 degrees and we start to change the weather pattern. on wednesday, we go from the cold pattern to relatively mild pattern and finish off the week above normal. but you will notice on saturday, rain or snow in the forecast.
