mike: i could say blizzard and you won't care. don't worry. i'm not saying blizzard. i'm talking about rain. down in texas right now. it's headed this way. but not until tomorrow. before it gets here we have something else to contend with this morning. look at the area along 495. actually it's showing a little bit of intensification. it's getting a little bit stronger, a little more organized in the last 15-20 minutes or so. this is interesting to watch. you've got the moisture coming in off the ocean. it runs into 495 which is an elevation lift right there. you're starting to see that precipitation forming right along that line. so many times we see this happening with snow events during the winter. right now we're seeing a light drizzle, a little bit of light snow. if you have an untreated road surface it will be slippery out there. do be cautious about that this morning. this area is going to lift its way to the north. as far as our rain-maker, it's clear down here. it's got to come roaring in. when it does, it is dragging a lot of warm air with it. not so warm out there right now. it's still 40 degrees in boston which for a typical january

will be so wet out there. as we head through the late afternoon, could be a rumble of thunder. 3:00 to 5:00 we try to wind things down a little bit. as we head towards the overnight hours, tomorrow night it will all be over with. the only issue we have tomorrow night is temperatures will be cooling off. i would be concerned about a few spots getting a little bit slippery. do be cautious about that tomorrow night. otherwise tomorrow it's just too warm really to even be talking about anything except water. so tomorrow high temperature in boston 54 degrees. the record is 56. worcester also very close to seeing those record highs. the other thing you'll notice tomorrow is strong southeastly winds. that's why there's a high wind watch out primarily for the coast, the south eastern part of the state. we could see gusts 50, perhaps as high as 60 miles per hour. here's the way the seven-day forecast breaks down for you. today is gray skies and drizzly. 44 tomorrow wind and rain. 56 degrees out there. here comes the cold on monday. only about 50 for a high. now i've got a chance of some snow coming in here late tuesday night into wednesday morning.
