the rescue took place starting to freeze back over. there are some items frozen in the water and it is still very thin, the ice. a young girl told us her cousins brother were out here playing football and they climbed over the fence that surrounds the pond and they got the idea to go on the ice. >> one of them went on top of the ice. the other one said if you go, i will go. the nine-year-old fell in first. my brother and cousin went to look for help. julie: two adults were the first to jump in before first responders arrived. the younger of the boys was in good condition. the neighbor you heard from told us the older boy was in the water for about 5-10 minutes longer than the other boy.
