add: the bid to impeach governor paul lepage fell short today. you' ll remember lepage drew national attention last week when he said drug dealers were coming to maine and getting white women pregnant. however, the call to impeach centered around an alleged abuse of power. a democrat in the house claims the republican governor pressured a charter school operator to rescind a job offer to the house speaker, who is a democrat. but, critics failed to get enough support to require a vote on an independent investigation that could have led to impeachment. lepage has called the attacks against him a political witch hunt that had absolutely no merit. phil: an employee at a health care facility in new hampshire has been arrested. he' s accused of sexually assaulting a patient. heather unruh has more on this developing story tonight. heather. heather: heather: police tell us 72-year-old charles bureau was arrested yesterday on two counts of misdemeanor sexual assault. bureau is accused of fondling a developmentally disabled woman

jc: the u.s. now says $10 detainees have been transferred from the guantanamo bay prison to oman. that reduces the prison population there to 93. it' s the first time the number has dropped below 100 since 2002. in the state of the union address this week, president obama reiterated his argument for closing the prison, saying it' s a waste of taxpayer money and inflames anti-american sentiments. the group that helped bring down boston' s olympic bid is now supporting another one.

that is by the boards pretty temperature in boston is still below freezing. the wind is down quite a bit. we are better off than yesterday. with the absence of the very powerful wind it makes a huge difference. our temperatures will drop into the teens for a wild. more clouds will comment toward morning. tomorrow morning looks to be a cloudy day. moving up in the afternoon to 40 degrees. we have to watch out for these temperatures. if we get precipitation in late friday night, well after midnight, it could be borderline freezing rain. at least it will not be snow initially.
