bob: the media was shooed out of the locker room just as chandler was asked who encouraged him to go to the police station on sunday morning so we didn't get an answer to that question. from gillette stadium, bob halloran, wcvb "sportscenter" 5. heathen: also, foxborough police releasing their report on what happened. john continues our live team coverage at the police station. john? john: that police report only aides to the mystery of what happened here early sunday morning. it says that chandler jones walked here to the police department without his shirt on, at one point even kneeling on the ground and one officer said it appeared as if he was praying. like this man was trying to surrender wrote one officer in a report. without provocation the individual abruptly got down on

behind his head. he arrived from his home right across the street subbed morning. the officer said he quickly announced who he was, saying i'm chandler jones and said he was told to come to the politician. as paramedics helped him they said he was polite and cooperated. they also indicated in the report that chandler jones was not being arrested. he said it was evident that mr. jones was desperately seeking our assistance and had not committed any crimes. >> the report says an officer went to jones home, just across the street and inside that home the officer reported it smelled like marijuana. >> from is nothing patriots head coach bill belichick likes more than distraction before a game, particularly a big game. he didn't seem happy to talk

that 1-year-old pull maya fell through the thin ice after chasing a squirrel. fire crews quickly arrived and pulled maya to safety. you could see they liked her too. rescuers say she tried to pull herself out with a tree branch. tonight maya is at home and she's safe and warm. >> i think she liked them too. >> but harvey, that's a good reminder. make sure the ice is secure before you walk on it. >> absolutely, and we have to remember how warm december was. the warmest by far we've had since we've been keeping records and january is arching above until too. we don't have the situation we sometimes have at this point in the winter. it's 28 degrees in boston now. the breeze is light out of the southwest, nine miles per hour. temperatures a few degrees better but the wind being down makes these 20's easier to take. the skies have cleared in many

teens for a little while but the clouds move in the morning and tomorrow could be warmer. why colder north and south? we're seeing a little bit of a temperature separation showing up. it's mild to the south but cold to the north and a strip of cloud inns and flurries along that. flurries in mill bury this morning. an inch 23456 in the vin yard. tomorrow, can't rule out a stray snowflake but down in the gulf of mexico is going to be our next significant storm as it intensifies and comes up the coast. tacking a track that ordinarily in the middle of winter would almost always guarantee snow for us. but tomorrow i don't think it will work out that way because the air will be a little bit too warm for most of that storm. but we'll have the clouds tomorrow and the first of the

at new york city but before dawn it overspreads the region. some heavier bands of rain. two things when the temperatures are marginal. one is intensity and elevation. you have the two, you might get a mix of snow. so reaching new hampshire and also the mountains of vermont and maine. could get accumulating snow but most of our area is likely to get rain. might be a mix but i don't think there will be much accumulation in eastern massachusetts. it will clear by saturday night. there could be a little bit of snow, especially the worcester hits but most especially points north. here's the story over the next seven days. milder, about 40 tomorrow. stormy, windy late. as for the patriots game, i think the storm is done. temperatures in the 30's. higher to start, lower to
