now officially, the winter weather advisory in effect 128 north and west. the idea behind that is that that is the best chance of getting this mix of freezing rain, maybe some wet snow mixed in at times as well. now here is the idea. you see the temperature is freezing or below. nashua, manchesterer, all the way up to portsmouth, new hampshire. 128. a little bit above. boston warm to the low 40's so is the cape so the wind is off the water. then second half of the storm. the wind will start to drom the north which means there could be some wet snow mixing in boston late in the storm. here is the leading edge of it as it moves up. we'll give you a timelip on this. here is the way it goes. after midnight, 5:00 a.m., the mix m in. after 8:00 a.m., though. the mix could get allle the way close to bo boston for the last couple of hours of the storm then it is out of here. not talking about a lot of eye cumulation or anything like to. with the colder temperatures up here in southern new hampshire.

i was before 7:00 this morning when a red suv carrying students slammed into another car, right here on route 18 in weymouth, a fright being end to a wild ride. 57-year-old of quincy was the taxi driver responsible for bringing the students to brockton high and the school. the young passenger told the police they repeatedly asked him to pull over as he swerved en stead before crashing. the e told police, he slipped on ice but when they asked if he had taken anything. he admitted he took several diazapam pills less than an hour before. when officers questioned drop my about the crash, he appeared disoriented and bewildered and closing his eyes and almost falling asleep standing up. they also observed he was increasingly unsteady on his feet ap they say he answered the questions vaguely. more of the students told police that he had been drink fireball cinnamon whiskey as he drove and in a search of his car, police

it is cold still up across central anor new hampshire and maine. well, the ocean is in the 40's. so right now, the coast is mild. inland areas are borderline. that is why there is a winter weather advisory. the closer look shows manchester at freezing, mash shoe with a we below. worcester below. orange, yaf ry, that is the general idea. obviously, way above freezing on the cape where the wind is coming in. now the beginning of the precipitation is starting to show on radar notice a little bit of a mix showing west of springfield. that is going to be the idea and going to be out across the berkshire and the region of new hampshire. this the hilly ter are in of worcester county that may get wet snow mixed with freezing rain in the early part of this storm. a very fast mover. it in terms of how much. i here's the rub. where it is cold enough to be borderline snow mix. you don't get the heaviest precipitation. the heaviest precipitation is the cape of the island that is where its all rain. also, want to tell you, the

and southern new hampshire. and maybe nothing to perhaps a slushy inch as you get closer to boston late in the storm which would be late morning tomorrow. but up across northern new hampshire and good deal of maine, central and northern maine will get a decent snowfall out of this. also the winds will pick up. for tomorrow morning, especially the cape and the islands that is where it is strongest but lack the winds just tend to quit as we get patriots' game. that is convenient. all right. the actual forecast i got for you. 37 drying out chilly breeze but not bitterly cold one. 8 to 16 miles per hour. and then we got the bitter cold in anta. that will be arriving later on monday. right into early wednesday probably as cold as we had it feeling so far this season. so there you go. tomorrow, there will be a heavy mix overall in the morning. but ending abruptly around lunchtime. we go get some sun in here. not additional storm but notice i am saying late tonight and into monday. that there could be snow squalls.
