5:39 am
erosion and also due to a full moon on saturday the tides will be running at throw nomically high. any component off the ocean with a storm could lead to some coastal flood sog that is a concern. with a closer path, the potential is there for heavy snow and strong winds. if the track is a little farther to the south, we might get a little more fringed by it. that would lessen the snow amounts but either way it look like a pretty big impact for a large portion of the eastern seaboard with the snow, the wind, the coastal flooding threat and also the beach erosion. a lot to watch heading into the weekend. look at the wind gusts gusting close to 30 miles per hour. we could see gusts to 50 miles per hour throughout the day. so there is a wind advisory up until 7:00 tonight. obviously that is knocking back the wind chills. it feels like zero out the door in boston. seven below is what it feels like right now in worcester. notice wind chills throughout the day holding near or below zero this morning. single digits is as high as we get through the afternoon. temperatures climb into the upper teens in worcester county. low to mid 20's elsewhere and high pressure nosing in.
