first of all, that moisture down as it moves to the north and east, that is manual start to see the snow come into the picture. carolinas. tons of snow for virginia. nations capital and baltimore will be hit hard. philadelphia may just get a snowstorm. edge of the heaviest snow. we will be on the edge of the snow by the time we get to midafternoon saturday. one of our computer models allows the snow to lift northward saturday evening and then retreating to the south and east but this is really sharp cutoffs to what could be substantial snow to almost no no. so that is what we will be dealing with. right now i' m taking the conservative approach. north and west of boston anywhere from nothing to a coating to perhaps an inch or two with one inch to four inches south of boston or more and three to six inches or more southern connecticut, southern rhode island.
