starting to move north. but it might not get far enough to bring much snow to the boston area. good morning. i'm emily riemer. randy: and i'm randy price. cindy has been keeping af eye on the storm's track all night. cindy. the storm has been north and south then north and south. the main message, though, the brunt of it still appears to be hitting the mid lant tick states am we're on the northern edge. enough so, that far south coastal new england is likely going to see the potential for six inches or more of stow. we have a winter storm watch up now issued. it is in effect starting tomorrow through sunday morning here from the national weather service, south coast including the cape and the islands are impacted by this. you can see, we're just on the edge of the winter weather advice. you can see here. that we have got blizzard warnings up from new york city to new jersey and into the d.c. area and look at think winter storm warnings so all the way back to arkansas and ten see this morning. this is a large storm just taking shape and a line receive

atlantic to the florida panhandle now t. this storm is going to be strengthening over the next 24 hours. look at it lifting northward by saturday morning. it is to our south, blizzard conditions from new york to d.c. and then the northern edge of that snow on saturday morning is to the south. during the day on saturday, it is going to creep northward because it will snow far time saturday night before it exits sunday morning. i am thinking now. it is down along the south coast and the eye in las where we could six inches or more of show. the amounts will dropoff dramatically and the potential for 2 to 4 inches of snow south of boston once you get north of the city. you could see something to perhaps couple of inches. that was what i am thinking in terms of the storms. today is a quiet day. clear skies. teens out there now. temperatures close to 30 with mostly sunny skies here. all right. hit to roads. olessa? olessa. thank you, sunday. a quiet trip in somerville. a few more cars on the road.

dra ma ek new video. frank? frank president? this is knowner repair. that is where the car crashed. this could have been a terrible accident, fortunately, there were no people in the path of the out-of-control car. this is the scene inside of the building earlier this morning. think car submerged in the indoor pool. this started around 11:15. a valet here at the residence museum way was parking a car. he told investigators a rug got trapped under the peddles and he lost control. investigators say the car traveled about 100 feet at a high rate of speed before crashing through the wall then dropping righting to the indoor pool. fortunately, no one was inside of the pool at the time. the valley got himself out of the pool all on his own. he was later taken to mass general with minor injuries. police tell us the crash has been ruled an accident. live in cambridge, frank holland, wcvb newscenter 5. emily: thank thank you, frank. also breaking, more than 20

look at the snow around memphis this morning. severe weather expected today along the gulf coast. this storm system in the strengthening phase now. look where it is going to be by tomorrow morning at 8:00 am. sitting off the coast of north carolina, pounding new york city, d.c., with blizzard conditions. strong winds, heavy snow, reduced visibility. travel is not recommended at to the south here in the next 2 by saturday evening, some of that snow is sneaking up to southern new england before the storm heads offshore. the further south here, we have a winter storm watch. the south coast, the cape and the island. the blunt of the snow in feet. still focused down to the mid atlantic states. add to the northern edge of this creeps in during the afternoon
