big changes for wednesday and later this week. >> woo women -- two women are facing drug charges. jc: john atwater has more. reporter: they went home after posting bail this afternoon. this is video from inside their home. police say it was a mess littered with an ma -- with animal feces. three children were found inside. police went to execute a drug-related search warrant. they say they had oxycodone pills and marijuana and hundred hundred -- and intent to distribute drugs. their children who are three and six are now in state custody. the other child in the home is a cousin now staying with relatives. ed: we are learning aaron hernandez is following the pay

in court charged with the premeditated murder of nicole lavell. police haven't said much about the motive. >> we said they were acquainted prior to her disuh earns pooh. eisenhower used it to abduct and then kill her. reporter: 19-year-old natalie keepers was arraigned. she is facing charges of transporting or concealing a dead body. after police arrested dye -- arrested eisenhower they found lavell's body in north carolina. her family said that she pushed a dresser against her door and possibly climbed out of her window on wednesday. her mother told the "washington post" that her daughter was bullied on-line and at school 1450e -- she was a liver transplant recipient who needed daily medications. eisenhower claimed "i believe the truth can set me free." he was a high school track star with big as separations. >> a pleasant young man and goal driven.

the start to february was incredibly warm. the average high was 36. we hit 65. 29 degrees above that. the afternoon high temperature by the -- the average high is way lower than what we were. over three inches of precipitation. the average snowfall is 11 inches. we were five times that last year in february. that's the snowest month we have ever had on record. these were the high temperatures . unbelievable. upper 50s and mid60s. whenner is winter? where is winter? it is not here at the moment. blizzard warnings will go into affect in portions of iowa, but that's not until 3:00 a.m. tomorrow. that's where winter is. it certainly isn't here at this time. we started to cool down some. 53 in boston and 45 in worcester. chilly air to the north and west. low temperatures will drop to close to the freezing mark and maybe a bit above in boston

the suburbs as you start the day off tomorrow. tomorrow will still be an above average day. the average high is in the 30s. that's still 20 degrees cooler than today's high temperatures in boston. radar is showing a few sprinkles trying to reach the ground near plymouth. there may be a touch of light rain or sprinkles for plymouth or the cape in the next few hours. that tends to move offshore. that's running along the front through boston and it allows the chillier air to move in. the cold air will not last that long. and so the temperatures will as i mentioned be in the 40s. look what happens by wednesday. the clouds are coming in early in the day. now by later in the day rains will come in from the west with our next system. the thing about that is it looks like the rains will be heaviest in western new england especially first. there by midday it could be rather wet and certainly for the evening commute. the wet weather arriving during the evening commute in boston and lasting into wednesday night.

downpours and then at that time it will turn mild until this front crosses the region and then we cool down on thursday. there may be a few waves of low pressure that form along this front that will keep the cloud locked in on thursday. there is just a chance on thursday night or should that there is a touch of rain or a little snow. i think most of that will stay east of us. as far as wednesday afternoon into wednesday night the potential is there for half an inch to an inch of rain. once you get worcester west especially the higher elevations that's where there can be one to two inches of rain. we are a little cooler tomorrow. notice the temperature spike up. that will be later wednesday and into wednesday night when we reach into the 50s again before starting to cool down on thursday. and then from friday through the weekend and into the very start of next week, we will be noticeably colder at that time. just beyond the seven-day forecast there may be some storminess rm -- storminess coming up the coast. that's a week out.

he was hit with a metal plane fragment during the bombing of the uss battle of okinawa. he dragged a fellow sailor to a hospital ship before returning to battle. ed:a california family's tragic loss leads to a second chance for an arizona family. jc: 4-year-old jordan is a picture of health thanks to a heart transplant made possible by heather clark after her 7-month-old baby boy died she donated his organs and his heart went to jordan who spent most of her life in the hospital because of a congenital heart defect. they all met recently as you can see here and heather was able to listen to a ready roughing of -- to a recording of her son's heart in jordan. >> he did more in seven months of life than i did in 25 years of life. >> baby lucas passed away in 2013 and his organ donations

jc: a marathon bombing survivor taking on a new mission. ed:she lost a leg in the bombing and now she is ready to reclaim the finish line. she is training to run in her first marathon. . >> i used to say if i am running people should be running too because something is wrong. reporter: she is running with a purpose despite the pain. >> it is a muscle memory to learn how to use a blade. i never want to give off the impression you just put it on and go. >> she started training to run the marathon this year. she took advantage of today's beautiful weather to get some miles in. when she runs the boston marathon she will be the first of the boston marathon bombing survivor amputees to do so. her motivation is simple, to run for those who can't. >> it is a way for me to give back and to say a giant thank you to everybody, but also to remember those who are sitting on the couch who don't have legs because of insurance

waiting list for limbs for life. reporter: the run will be more than another inspiring act. she will be raising money and awareness for limbs for life. an organization that provides prosthetics for a lifetime to am amputees who cannot afford them. she is a professional dance expert last time we saw her at the finish line was when she returned to the scene of the pain to dance away the nightmare. healing is an on going process and running the 120th boston marathon will be another step a 26.2 mile victory lap. >> i hope i have enough oxygen to run and cry at the same time. ed: the 26 is tough and the .2 will be emotional. >> quite an under taking.

one person ended up under her car. that person in extremely critical condition. >> a witness heard what he believes to be a car alarm when he was witnessing this and it turned out to be the victim screaming. reporter: the sounds came from under this car. the driver formerly of chinatown covered her face in court. police say she hit two people this morning and the woman was dragged for about three miles to columbia road in dorchester. there the driver finally stopped. >> there was a civilian witness who observed the defendant on route around the area of columbia circle and get out of her car and look into the underneath area of her vehicle where the female was found. he observed that and impot back into her -- got back into
