police found him in boston at a relative' s home where he was hiding under a bed. >> he almost took the love of my life away from me. he could have hurt someone else. he has no moral conscience. reporter: the suspect is a career criminal. he will spend the night here morning. ray flynn was taken to the hospital as a precaution after this accident. his suv smashed inside of a home. is the former mayor ok? >> it appears he is. he is still in the hospital at this hour. mayor flynn was returning from the jim and was behind the wheel of his suv when he crashed into a brick wall on the alley.

he lives in a small private way here. his suv accelerated, crashing through a brick wall. you can see in this photo the impact caused damaged . we are told by several sources including current mayor marty walsh he is expected to be ok, not badly injured, just shaken by the mishap. >> he is a great guy. he is. he is friendly and nice. you cannot ask for a better neighbor. >> the former mayor was taken to a hospital as a precaution. still no one home at his house. he will be ok. no charges are expected.

anchor: five heroin overdoses in just 5 hours in new bedford. the wave happened yesterday between 11am and 4pm. everyone survived. the patients were treated with the anti-overdose drug narcan then taken to a local hospital for treatment. this was the fifth treatment for one of the patients. ed: the standoff at a wildlife refuge in oregon is over tonight. the fbi confirms the 4 occupiers who have spent weeks at the refuge have surrendered. all 4 join others facing felony charges tied to the standoff that lasted for weeks. they will be in court tomorrow. the group has been protesting arson charges. ed: a federal judge in massachusetts rules that bill cosby' s wife must answer questions under oath in a defamation lawsuit filed by seven women who claim cosby sexually assaulted them decades ago. but camille cosby can also claim marital privilege and refuse to answer some questions about their private conversations. maria: new at 7: a new hampshire prosecutor has dropped

against the man accused of kidnapping and raping a teenage girl over the course of nine months. 35-year-old nathaniel kibby of gorham is still facing more than 200 charges when his kidnapping trial begins in june. he' s accused of kidnapping the 14-year-old girl back in october of 2013. kibby was also accused of making threats against the lead prosecutor in the case, senior assistant attorney general jane young. an armed robbery that turned into a standoff. the suspects were caught after police tracked down one of them . the men attacked before stealing cartons of cigarettes and a few hundred dollars. anchor: a settlement is in the works for the families of the murder victims of mobster james whitey bulger. 16 families have just received settlement offers from the us attorney. if they sign on, they will split
