because of that, it's just cold enough to support snow when the moisture gets to our area. in terms of the timeline with all this around 2:00 snow is breaking out in southwest connecticut. right around the time of the evening commute snow could be falling west and south of boston. probably reaching boston roughly about 6:00. now it's going to be a very wet snow along the coast where the temperature may be a little above freeze bug it will be a little colder inland and so for several hours tomorrow evening there can be some accumulation. then it's going to mix around midnight and turn over to rain in boston. early wednesday the pink is still a mix in southern new hampshire and could be having sleet and snow. not a lot of snow with this. less than an inch along the coast but 1 to 3 inches west and north of i-95 all occurring tomorrow evening into tomorrow night. remember that freezing drizzle, freezing rain early on wednesday prompting the winter weather advisory for areas to our west. there's much more to the storm with wind and heavy rain.

of the week's weather in a little while. >> breaking right now, a fire started with a hoverboard. the fire chief said the child was riding the hoverboard in the living room of a monmouth street home and it sparked and caught fire. the child was not hurt but a living room rug and wall are damaged tonight. last week the government warned hoverboards do not meet safety standards. several others have also caught fire. 5 investigates now a major break in a 22-year-old cold case. this mother found murdered in boston now has a name. >> new tonight we're hearing from the victim's daughter who has new answers but also plenty of new questions. karen anderson joining us live now from fitchburg. >> her name was millie. she was last seen walking here in fitchburg. police gave the news tonight to her daughter. a daughter too young to grateful that detectives never gave up. >> she was this big, beautiful

>> for cynthia dejesus this night is about gratitude. >> i've never had her in my life before so it is nice to have her now. >> her mother who was known as millie disappeared 22 years ago from fitchburg when cynthia was just 2. in december cynthia and her family gave d.n.a. samples to the national missing and unidentified persons system at this university of north texas lab. now two months later they got a match. >> it's a big deal. she's been unidentified for 22 years. >> boston police cold case detectives were determined to solve this jane doe case. a woman murdered and found buried at the reservation in hyde park in august, 1994. >> these are the original crime scene photos. >> as 5 investigates first reported, they exhumed the unknown woman's body and sent d.n.a. from her teeth to the texas lab, hoping for answers.

taking place. >> the good news is we have started the process of taking the deposition of camille cosby. the bad news is that we're not done. >> it took seven hours just to get two and a half hours of testimony from bill cosby's wife. >> i got the sense she really didn't want to be there. >> she is being deposed in the defamation lawsuit filed by seven women who accused her husband of sexually assaulting them. >> who is telling the truth? is it the seven ladies that we represent? or is it mr. cosby? mr. cosby, you know, filed a counterclaim. says i'm the truth teller. >> married to cosby for more than 50 years camille invoked spousal privilege several times. that's why it took so long. the judge had to be called twice to sort it all out. >> at the end of the day a jury is going to determine who has more credibility? is it the seven women we represent? or is it bill cosby? >> the cosby team filed a series of motions to prevent camille from testifying but late sunday the federal court

last emergency appeal. today was just round one. camille will be deposed again march 14. >> keep your eye on the left side of this video. this is workers forced into a freezer as restaurant robbers go after the cash. police are trying to find them before they can strike again. we'll go live to dartmouth with the video. jorge? >> the chipotle closes at 10:00 p.m. but the staff is still here cleaning up. that's what they were doing sunday night when two employees went to throw out the trash and found two gunmen waiting by the back door. surveillance video shows chipotle employees, two women and a man, with his hands behind his head, forced into a walk-in cooler. popular with college kids the dartmouth restaurant on route 6 had just closed for the night. you know? you can see in the reaction and were. >> two gunmen with knit caps pulled down over their faces

at gun point one suspect then takes another employee into the manager's office. >> one of the employees said that he had said please don't shoot. that grabbed the manager's attention at which point he turned around and the suspect put the gun on him. >> surveillance video shows that manager struggling with that gunman before running out of the restaurant. >> kind of scary. a lot of people apply for jobs like this our age. >> watching the video college students can relate. >> i would be scared and i wouldn't want that to ever happen to me. >> the manager calling 911 from a taco bell across the street. the gunman made off with about $300 cash. >> luckily it was really quick. we had guys in the area and when the call came in they were within two minutes, two to three minutes. it wasn't a long period of time at all. i'm sure it seemed like eternity for them. >> and that cash drawer you saw the men taking in that video was actually found along route 6. so far, however, police have not been able to track down any surveillance video of a

>> rubio today did pick up endorsements from more than a dozen party leaders and here at home the boston herald endorsed rubio as well. >> a 16-year-old boy held without bail tonight accused of stabbing another teen to death in dorchester. the 15-year-old victim's uncle calls it a tragedy for both families. of course you have animosity. it's a child, man. it's a child. y'all don't see what's going on with these children, it's a message. >> amare pope confessed to the stabbing prosecutors say and say it started between pope's girlfriend and the victim 15-year-old dion hopkins. >> this uber driver telling police he did it confessing to a random killing spree in michigan. there is actually a victim fighting back from the brink of death. >> she is just 14 years old. pleas say she was declared brain dead but then squeezed her mother's hand so that family has some hope tonight. six others have been devastated.

said very little in court. prosecutors say he admitted he went on a killing spree. a father and son, shot and killed at this car dealership, four women killed outside a cracker barrel restaurant. in between the apparent random murder saturday night investigators say jason dalton picked up uber fares around kalamazoo. >> driving through medians and the lawn speeding along and then finally he came to a stop i jumped out of the car and ran away. >> the man called 911 after the terrifying ride. his fiance posted this warning on facebook. word spread quickly the driver was in a chevrolet s.u.v. >> hey, you're not the guy are you? >> uber says dalton passed a background check and became a driver less than a month ago. >> no one understands why it happened. >> what triggered the

came in and made impact with the house. this is new at 11:00. boston police are now fingerprinting all of the city cab drivers. the process started today. the 6,000 drivers. police say this will allow them to conduct more thorough background checks on cab drivers. the mayor says the goal is to make sure the riders are safe. >> i think that we're not looking for people that might have a record not being able to drive but people that might have serious records are concerning to people. >> the city's police commissioner has called for fingerprinting drivers for ride share companies uber and lift. legislation is pending that would require that. >> new warning tonight about the dangers of flore laminate that was sold by lumber liquid ators. the cdc says an early report is down playing the risks of the company's floor laminates. those are wrong because it used the wrong measurements. instead people exposed to certain types of the company's flooring they say are three times more at risk of developing cancer than originally thought. the company released a

this is the temperature compared to 24 hours ago. 10 to 15 degrees colder than it was last night at this time. it's down in the 20's in our areas north and west of boston as you can clearly see. right around the freezing mark down on cape cod. notice the temperatures are down in the teens when you get to lebanon, laconia, new hampshire, burlington, vermont, and just above the border low quebec. just enough of that cold air is getting in so that when our next storm begins it will at least be cold enough for snow. by the time that storm is completely done with us we'll be incredibly mild, windy, and wet. another massive turn-around. but these are the temperatures to start the day off tomorrow. then we'll move to 35 to 40 in. pretty impressive area of rain trying to slide up the coast. it is the first batch of precipitation, another storm out close to denver and that's going to be part of the storm that when it gets us we'll be on the warm side of that and will give us the heavy rain. let's time this out for you. storm number one. there you see it. storm number two right over

now, storm number one comes up the coast. late tomorrow into tomorrow night. gives us several hours of snow. before we then mix and eventually change. here is the timeline. about 2:00 snow is getting into southwestern connecticut. around 6:00 it's just about to boston to the west and points south. now right along the coast it'll be a wet snow with a temperature actually a little above 32. inland areas will drop to around or just under 32 while about 10:00 on we'll start to see mixing of sleet, especially in the boston area and to the west and eventually to north and west with time. but the pink area represents either freezing rain or freezing drizzle. outside of 128 possibly but especially outside of 495 wednesday morning still 32 or below. on top of the snow accumulation which won't be huge there will be a little bit of ice as well. even into the morning, later morning, and the afternoon there will still be a few

valley, in the worcester area out toward the berkshires with freezing rain. notice some of the heavier rain into worcester county late on wednesday and later wednesday night into thursday morning strong lines of downpours, maybe even thunder with strong or damaging winds likely. the first part of the storm, the snowy part, almost nothing toward the cape. i say i-95 north and west, 1 to 3 inches of snow for tomorrow evening before the mix takes over. the reason for the winter weather advisory is because of the the freezing rain on top of the snow over inland locations. when we get to the heavy rain part of the storm overnight wednesday night into thursday morning, very high chance of a heavy rain, high chance of some strong, damaging winds. low chance of coastal flooding and even a chance there could be a thunderstorm involved. in terms of how much rain this could produce, check it out. we're talking a good 1 to 2 inches of rain. we get 1 to 3 inches of snow i-95 north and west and the

that is the story from ft. myers. back to boston with the rest of the evening sports. here's ed. >> great job down in florida. the bruins have some explaining to do. if you're a playoff team you do not lose at home to columbus and you do not play three games under .500 at home which is where the bruins are right now. to the highlights we go. columbus has the part. that's the world renowned boo jenner. one of his three goals. bruins fight back with the lefty second of the night. cuts the deficit to 4-3. right now the puck is in the bruins end and boom. 5-3 columbus. louie ericsson brings the bruins a little closer 5-4 with the second goal of the night. he's been scoring 7-7 games. 22nd and 23rd of the year. that little guy was happy then but too little too late in the end. the bruins lose to columbus, 6-4.

the bruins are 12-15-3 at home. say this for the celtics. they never give up. down most of the game most of the night and stage a frenetic rally late and lose by two in minnesota today. and jae crowder's three with 33 seconds to go brings the celtics within five. he led the celtics with 27. avery bradley brings the three. the celtics get even closer down one with nine seconds to go. minnesota made one free throw. marcus smart misses a chance to win at the buzzer. no. hit the front end of the rim and didn't go in. celtics lose, 124-122 and host milwaukee on thursday. >> we should put a positive spin on it. so close. >> they lose and whatever. the bruins have no -- okay. >> all right. we got you. >> don't get me started. still should have beaten minnesota. that is a good point by you. >> look at all these numbers. >> maria is going to stay a half hour after the show and study that. >> what do they all mean though?
