the landing gear never deployed. the pilot and a passenger karen: right now state police are investigating a deadly crash on 495 in norton. investigators say the driver of a toyota tacoma lost control in the median and hit a toyota yaris head on. the driver of that yaris was killed a passenger suffered life-threatening injuries. the tacoma driver, a 41-year-old man from mashpee, was taken to a rhode island hospital. their names have not yet been released. state police are asking for the public' s help to find a blue pick-up truck connected to this deadly crash in somerset. that pickup was carrying file cabinets in its bed friday morning when one fell off. the victim in this crash swerved to avoid it and lost control of his suv. he was pronounced dead at the

making it feel more like 36 degrees. that is the windchill value. through the day, when will ramp up. be aware of that as we head toward this evening. anywhere from 10:20 miles per hour. 50 is the high-end worcester, 50 in boston. 50 degrees in the merrimack valley. tonight, a mild tonight, upper 30' s, low 40' s. we will take that at the end of february. tomorrow, we will warm into the mid-50' s in boston or the south shore, the north shore. worcester and orange may stay in the 40' s as the cold front comes faster for you folks and dropped temperatures back a touch. we are leaving in the chance for showers. here is how it all plays out. by 8:00 in the morning, some entering western mass, but it is about late morning, early afternoon. we start to see those showers breakout in central mass and metrowest and even into boston. later in the afternoon, the south shore and the cape could see it, too.

that will be dry. it will turn those wins to the north and west. you will feel them on tuesday. a breezy day. here comes the next system. the area of low pressure. it has moisture it is tapping into over the gulf of mexico. this is the widespread rain chance i' m talking about on wednesday. when all is said and done from the system, we could see anywhere from a half an inch to an inch in terms of rain, total. at the tail end, maybe some light snow. not looking for much in the way of accumulation. once we get to friday, this is what we are watching. a lot of days out, all i can change. one of the models, two of them holding on the idea of a coastal system setting up that would hit the benchmark. now it mean some potential widespread accumulating snow, especially in southeastern mass and strong wind without one, too. the time period would be friday night into saturday morning. again, that is several days out. a lot can change.

england. the police say that evidence suggesting they could be connected to a series of other break-ins. doug: right now, federal investigators looking for answers after a small plane crashed at plymouth airport. witnesses say the pilot was the only person on-board this fixed-wing plane. he was practicing a training manuever called a touch and go , landing when something went wrong and he crashed upside down. he was med-flighted to brigham and women' s hospital. karen: hillary clinton gaining a carolina democratic primary, huge margin. overwhelming support from black voters was key as she gains momentum and delegates. both candidates now looking ahead to super tuesday. both will campaigning here tomorrow, with stops planned in boston. doug: school officials are warning students of a mumps outbreak at saint anselm college in manchester, new hampshire. the few confirmed cases all players on the men' team. the mumps vaccine is only 88% effective so it' s still possible to get sick. saint a' s students are off campus for spring break right now, which does help lower the risk factor.
