today including 34 new security , cameras. his uncle telling us this has been a nightmare. tonight, with broken hearts, they will gather to remember the little boy at a vigil outside the curley community center kyzr loved so much. >> we are asking people to come show support for the family. they need to know they have support out there. >> the vigil is schedule his funeral is set for thursday. randy: a worcester dentist will go before a judge today, charged with indecent assault. doctor nakhil patel is accused of inappropriately touching the alleged victim several times at this lincoln street office. the 35-year-old says it happened during an appointment yesterday morning. she says she left the chair when she realized what happened and

police chase through the south coast it was a witness who helped police put the brakes on this pursuit. right now the suspect, 50-year-old randall harrison, is under arrest. police say it all started with that man waving a hatchet then getting behind the wheel. the 20-mile pursuit wound down highways, and through several towns. witnesses describing a chaotic scene, which finally ended in downtown new bedford. police in front, and one driver behind. caught in the middle, but determined to help. harrison was caught just a few blocks from where he lives. family friends say he has a long history of mental health issues. he's now being evaluated at a local hospital. randy: new this morning, organizers of south boston's st. patrick's day parade are at odds with the city. the herald reporting a new complaint claims mayor walsh

an lgbt group to march in the parade. the south boston veterans council claims the mayor threatened to withhold necessary permits. it's just part of a lawsuit filed back in march, accusing the mayor and boston police commissioner bill evans of violating the group's constitutional right. the mayor is denying the allegations. boston's city council is now plastic shopping bags. the council says its taking environmental concerns into consideration. they've asked for a 90-day study of how the city can reduce the use of bags. the study group may recommend new laws. other towns including brookline and cambridge have recently passed similar laws.

campaign. a new cnn poll now gives hillary clinton a nine point lead over her gop rival. trying to distance himself from his dispute with a gold star family donald trump is now putting a new spin on the contest. >> i'm afraid the election is going to be rigged. i have to be honest. emily: donald trump is calling on all republicans to be careful come election day. >> and i hope the republicans are watching closely or it's going to be taken away from us. on a rigged election, many veterans groups and even his own party continue to condemn his comments. republican senator and war hero john mccain is leading the charge saying in a blistering statement, while our party has bestowed upon him the nomination, it is not accompanied by unfettered license to defame those who are the best among us. gop vice presidential nominee mike pence, out on the campaign trail was forced to defend trump's remarks when a military mother asked about the

credit for working together on this bill. >> we have the ability here in the commonwealth to be able to find a way, to find common ground. randy: the bill includes a first-in-the-nation ban on employers asking job applicants to provide a salary history. it takes effect in 2018. right now tight water restrictions are in place in concord after someone tampered with one of the town's water tanks. it all started when inspectors found a lock had been broken off one of the storage tanks. they isolated that system as a precaution. as a result, residents cannot water lawns or fill up swimming pools. concord is also asking people to take faster showers, and wash

>> we don't think anything sinister happened. no signs of intruders and in the chamber where we put the water. randy: the town manager says it'll take a day or two to test the water. emily: a 15-year-old is recovering after police say he was shot in the hand in worcester. this happened monday afternoon near castle park. after the shooting, officers found four boys hiding in that area. all 4 were arrested for trespassing. shooting. a swampscott man will be back in court tomorrow for a dangerousness hearing. timothy brosnan appeared in court on arson charges yesterday, accused of burning down his own home. police say brosnan told them he torched the nearly million dollar home over the weekend because his wife was moving in the next day. nobody was seriously hurt in the fire. brosnan's attorney says his

into the middle of the gunfire. police say devaughn dardy is facing several charges in the shooting. it's not believed that anybody was hurt. a strange twist in the case of a norwood boy scout troop's equipment trailer that was initially reported stolen. last week, a scoutmaster for troop 42 discovered this trailer was missing. norwood police now say it turns out u-haul officials had apparently repossessed it. the scouts had, at some point, been gifted a missing u-haul trai they are now in talks with the moving company to negotiate buying it back. randy: home invasion here in new hampshire. police are searching for this man, who you see here breaking into an allenstown home around 2:00 a.m. monday. you can see he's wearing a mask as he peeks around the door. that door was unlocked and the man walked right in. the homeowner says her two daughters were asleep on the

dentists have long touted the health benefits of flossing, but the government is now backtracking on the recommendation. in the latest federal guidelines , the recommendation for daily flossing was removed. it's been in the guidelines since 1979. the government tells the associated press that the effectiveness of flossing has never been researched, as is required. dentists do still urge flossing to prevent gum disease. a cup of coffee to start the day may give you a positive boost, but some doctors say it all depends on your metabolism. of cup of coffee, but experts at the cleveland clinics say for those who have slow metabolism, drinking coffee can sometimes result in health complications , including headaches and irregular heartbeat. getting protein without the negative impacts of red meat. researchers at mass general hospital and harvard university say eating plant proteins may decrease the risk of death that comes with eating red meat.
