255,000 jobs in july, even amid sluggish growth. the labor department says the unemployment rate remained a low 4.9% in july. more americans launched job searches, and nearly all were hired. american airlines has reached a deal with unions to raise wages for about 30,000 employees. the wage hikes are effective immediately and range from 15 to 55%. that's a pretty big increase. american airlines expects the increase will raise costs by nearly $200 million this year. the airline says the increases makes their hourly wages the highest in the industry. heather: in an effort gain more control over its delivery process, amazon has unveiled its first branded cargo plane. it is one of 40 jetliners that will make up the e-commerce giant's own air transportation network. amazon's parcel volume was an estimated 1 billion packages in 2015. internet speeds have reached an all time high. speedtest's latest report shows the internet is 42% faster than last year. reports say xfinity has the fastest download speed while
