heather: governor charlie baker has signed new regulations on ride-sharing into law. the bill requires background checks for all drivers with companies like uber and lyft. it also allows driver for those services to pick up passengers at logan airport and the convention and expo center. it does not include a proposal to fingerprint drivers which some safety advocates had pushed
