researchers lead by the state marine biologist. >> we had three sharks previously tagged that gives us a nice sense of residency and how long they stay around the area. reporter: sharks are spotted close to shore in chatum and orleans and eastham. it is posted to the shark-tivity app by the shark conserve ven see. >> the one off north beach island in chat tunnel is between 20 and 50 yards offshore and people were on theea blissfully unaware and only learning the nice when the alert is issued. >> it is definitely unusual to see the sharks close to the shoreline. that's not new. we have been seeing that every year for the last several years. what is important for us is to get that out to the folks. reporter: he reminds us that the probability of a shark attack is very low, but it is something to keep in mind especially since the researchers did see some rather risky behavior. they actually saw some people

infested water. hundreds of animals found dead and they have been found to a temporary spca shelter. this was over the scene last month after authorities made the horrific discovery. more than a dozen people are under investigation. they are asking for donations like water, bug spray, sunscreen to help the animals. it can be dropped off at the west port police ed: delta flights are back up and running, but many passengers are stranded after a global outage halted hundreds of flights today. we go live to logan airport that saw minimal impact. reporter: a handful of flights were canceled, but many people are arriving to find many other flights continuing to be delayed. a power outage at 2:30 this morning. they crashed the computers at
