television, the recommendation came from the prosecutor. reid lamberty, wcvb newscenter 5. ed: breaking tonight, state police say they've gotten hundreds of tips so far as they investigate the murder of a young woman attacked while jogging sunday. the calls pouring in after a special tip line was established today. let's get to rhondella richardson live in princeton. rhondella: the small town is desperate for information and answers investigators say they aren't sure yet if it's random. today we spoke to the family of the next-door neighbors. tips have provided us with a lot of good information. reid: the district attorney says there are hundreds of leads. the 27-year-old bu grad and nyc resident home visiting her mother in princeton went for a sunday 1:00 jog, disappeared and p.m. was found dead naked and burned in woods near her mom's house sunday night. family reported her missing when she missed her train out of town.

in falmouth. we reached out to judge creedon, but have not heard back. off the job and under investigation for allegedly making an insensitive comment. mike beaudet, 5 investigates. ed: a registered sex offender is back behind bars, now accused of sexually assaulting an elderly hingham woman in her home. investigators say he followed the victim home from a grocery store. our todd kazakiewich is live in hingham with new information tonight. todd: according to the police report, the defendant told the victim during the attack that he had been stalking her in the hours before the attack while she was shopping at this grocery store. tonight that level three sex offender is facing a series of felony charges, including assault with intent to rape. 65-year-old donald galvin of roxbury, wearing a harvard shirt, and limping into court for his arraignment. at the start of the hearing, he

barks an order at the photographer. collects put that away, pal. todd: galvin is charged with sexually assaulting a 79-year-old woman inside her home in hingham back on july 28. dna evidence links galvin to the attack. he is a level three sex offender with convictions dating back to 1993. according to the hingham police report, galvin tells the victim he noticed her shopping hours she tells police she was shopping at the fruit center marketplace in hingham. he also tells her he hid inside her house for 15 minutes before attacking her. she throws water at him, pleads with him to leave, and prays out loud. at one point he allegedly tells her his name is donnie and says, i don't want to hurt you. tonight he is being held without bail. he will be back in court for a

newscenter 5. heather: right now sharon police are asking for help to track down a child rape suspect. 29-year-old erik silvia is wanted on several charges. his last known address is beach road in sharon. if you have any information you should call police. bridgewater police release this sketch of a man who police say tried to lure three kids into a van. the girls told police a man approached them and asked them to play pokemon go. they said no. it happened on lady slipper road over the weekend. police have been going door-to-door in the neighborhood, looking for anyone who might have seen something. ed: right now boston fire officials say oily rags soaked in a floor refinishing solvent and stored in trash bags are to blame for last night's 4-alarm fire in southie. the fire caused a million dollars in damage to a home under construction on east 4th street and neighboring homes. no injuries reported. heather: commitment 2016. maine senator susan collins announcing she will not be voting for her party's nominee donald trump.
