pleading for calm overnight. doug: police say that 23-year-old man was armed with a gun, and was fleeing from a traffic stop. protesters clashing with police, one officer being treated now after a brick was thrown at his car. the officer was wearing a body camera. antoinette: right now a quincy woman is suffering from life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car. it happened just before eight last night on day boulevard in south boston. state police say the 45-year-old victim was taken to boston medical center. the road was closed for some time as police investigated the crash. no word yet on the cause. the latest now on the princeton murder investigation. state police say they've received nearly 600 tips, and they're following up on every lead. 27-year-old vanessa marcotte was killed one week ago today, her body found near her mother's

>> police investigating a shooting in dorchester. a man, believed to be in his thirties, was found shot just before midnight friday night in the area of 21 algonquin street. he later died of his injuries. no arrests have been made. right now, police in manchester, new hampshire are looking for a shooter who they say fired a shot at first responders as they were helping an unconscious person. it happened around 2 yesterday morning on elm street in manchester. two officers and two medics heard the gunshot, saying it went right over their heads. no one was hurt, but the police chief says he believes his officers were targeted. doug: two salem men are facing a slew of drug charges after being arrested in beverly. a joint investigation by salem and beverly police led to the arrests, after a series of undercover buys throughout the city. 21-year-old michael sanchez and 28-year-old jeffrey deleon are facing multiple drug charges, including distribution and possession of cocaine and heroin. detectives recovered a significant amount of crack,

right now an inconvenience for some patients in fall river. the charlton memorial hospital is redirecting ambulances this weekend because of a power outage that's caused the air conditioning system to stop working. the globe reports ambulances are being sent to saint anne's hospital in fall river and st. luke's in new bedford. cooling units are being used in some areas of the hospital. they expect the issue to be resolved by this afternoon. some positive news to report out one of the victims of the nightclub shooting, who's also a framingham native, sharing a big moment in his recovery. angel colon can now takes steps on his own. he shared this video on facebook with the caption took my first steps all by myself, so happy. colon was injured in the massacre on june 12 at the pulse nightclub. 49 people were killed and more than 50 others were hurt.

what happened. >> you see them drag somebody out of the pool and we both ran over and jumped in on cpr into the best we could. todd: bridgewater police and fire rushed to summit drive. bridgewater a 911 call saturday after a 57-year-old man is pulled unconscious from the pool. a sign hangs on the door warning residents the pool is closed. the victim had been underwater in the deep end for about five minutes. >> his girlfriend and her friend were quite upset. todd: the victim was rushed to

dead. the district attorney is investigating the circumstances surrounding the drowning. antoinette: an alert brookline police officer nabs a home break-in suspect. the officer noticed two men acting suspiciously in the area of griggs road and griggs terrace. when one of the men got in a car and drove off, the officer followed. and just as he pulled him over a homeowner on griggs road called police to report a break-in. it was at the same address where the officer first spotted th police are still looking for the second man this morning. caught on camera. we're getting a look at a dramatic scene that played out along a route 128 in weston. video posted on-line shows a car rolled over late friday. a woman in her fifties trapped behind the wheel. more than a dozen other drivers pulled over and tried to help her talking to her, keeping her calm and pulling on the door.
