that combination of heat and humidity. we will talk more about this coming up. antoinette: breaking overnight, the coast guard called to a rescue mission off castle island. six people were pulled out of the water. they were found clinging on to the boat as it sank in dorchester bay. police responding to a distress call around 1:30 this morinng. officials say the boat was taking on water and sinking fast. some of the passengers were wearing lifejackets. none of them were injured. the cause is under investigation right now. the coast guard will try to retrieve that boat today. we're following breaking news overnight. riots breaking out in milwaukee where angry crowds took to the streets last night, hours after a police officer shot and killed an armed man during a chase. protestors set fire to at least six businesses including a gas station. the mayor and other city leaders

police say that 23-year-old suspect was armed with a gun, and was fleeing from a traffic stop. the officer shot the victim during a foot chase. after the shooting, more than 100 people took the streets. the mayor saying the violence was given by social media. protestors clashing with police one officer is being treated right now, after a brick was thrown at his squad car. as for the shooting, the mayor says the officers feared for their own lives. >> the gun was a stolen gun. there were 23 rounds in that gun that that officer was staring at. police said they made 3 arrests overnight. the shooting is under investigation. the mayor says the officer was wearing a body camera. right now a quincy woman is suffering from life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car. it happened just before eight last night on day boulevard in south boston.

time as police investigated the crash. no word yet on the cause. the latest now on the princeton murder investigation. state police say they've received nearly 600 tips, and they're following up on every lead. 27-year-old vanessa marcotte was killed one week ago today, her body found near her mother's home in princeton. as we first reported, 5 investigates has learned police have submitted dna samples for testing on at least one possible person of interest. if you have any leads you're asked to call the anonymous tip line. tonight, the community will gather for a vigil and 3-mile group run at the princeton town common in memory of marcotte. she will be laid to rest on tuesday. jarring moments in boston harbor as some cruise ships crash into each other. black smoke billowing from one of those ships. the coast guard now investigating that crash right now. our david bienick explains what

two salem men are facing a slew of drug charges after being arrested in beverly. a joint investigation by salem and beverly police led to the arrests, after a series of undercover buys throughout the city. 21-year-old michael sanchez and 28-year-old jeffrey deleon are facing multiple drug charges, including distribution and possession of cocaine and heroin. detectives recovered a significant amount of crack, heroin and cash. right now an inconvenience for some patients in fall river. the charlton memorial hospital is redti conditioning system to stop working. the globe reports ambulances are being sent to saint anne's hospital in fall river and st. luke's in new bedford. cooling units are being used in some areas of the hospital. they expect the issue to be resolved by this afternoon. some positive news to report out of orlando this morning one of the victims of the nightclub shooting, who's also a framingham native, sharing a big

you can see the vortex of flames. it happened just outside portland. we've seen this before, experts say wildfires can sometimes create their own winds, causing a fire-tornado. firefighters were able to put out these flames without any injuries. doug: the local cranberry harvest is suffering, according to a new report. the cranberry revitalization task force is finding that the state is falling behind to wisconsin and quebec in terms of production. rise in production costs and less productive bogs. the u.s. department of agriculture's annual crop report shows a 12% decrease in the state's harvest this year. red sox and diamondbacks continuing their series at fenway. clay buchholz got the start for the sox last night bottom of the third dustin pedroia with the rbi single, and brock holt puts the sox on the board first. smooth sailing from there bottom of the 5th, tied at 3

police officer nabs a home break-in suspect. the officer noticed two men acting suspiciously in the area of griggs road and griggs terrace. when one of the men got in a car and drove off, the officer followed. and just as he pulled him over a homeowner on griggs road called police to report a break-in. it was at the same address where the officer first spotted the pair. police are still looking for the second man this morning. caught on camera. we're getting a look at a dramatic scene that played out along a route 128 in weston. video posted on-line shows a car rolled over late friday. a woman in her fifties trapped behind the wheel. more than a dozen other drivers pulled over and tried to help her talking to her, keeping her calm and pulling on the door. >> i am always the person that runs to danger. it is probably not the smartest thing but if someone needs help,
