claims made by team usa swimming they were robbed at gunpoint outside of the olympic village are appearing to crumble. a different version of events is playing out on multiple pieces of surveillance footage. police sources saying 104 olympic swimmers including ryan lochte are seen breaking down a bathroom door at a gas station and getting into a fight wa first gave. >> in the guy pulled out his gun. he said get down. i said whatever. reporter: he now says the gun was pointed only in his direction. he is back in the u.s.. his teammates all are still in brazil. two are seen here after being

drought-effected towns. several local communities have imposed voluntary or mandatory water-use restrictions. but the governor said statewide restrictions are not yet needed, because the drought is still hit or miss. >> where you access supply to some extent determines where you land in the context of the water issues that you deal with and you face. but it's pretty clear if you talk to almost anybody in the farming community, they are dealing with a very significant constraint. reporter: massachusetts' cranberry crop, for example, expected to be down 12% this year. at this farm, they say they've lost thousands of dollars of christmas trees. coming up at 6:00, we'll talk to the commonwealth's top ag official about what that means for the prices we pay. live in andover, david bienick, wcvb newscenter 5.

disturbance aloft with this front. you lose the ability to help the storms to try to develop. it has hit 91 and hartford. not really once you penetrate inland at all. 89 in providence. it is a little bit sticky out there today. not quite as dry as it felt yesterday but nowhere near as summer evening. that may include going to the billy joel concert. it is going to be 80 degrees for the star of those events. there will be a stronger breeze getting stronger in the afternoon. right around 79. it should be in the 80's farther inland.

three people hit by a car in downtown crossing. two dragged and trapped until witness were able to lift the car off of them. they were all rushed to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. police located the driver in a nearby restaurant, there is no word on charges. heather: police in braintree say a man tried to grab a one-year-old boy from a store. you can see suspect stephen o'brien pick up the child on surveillance video from the south shore india market. the toddlers father follows, confronts the suspect and takes anchor: how the ryan lochte story gets more interesting. he and other swimmers lied about being robbed at gunpoint. investigators say surveillance video shows the 4 athletes vandalizing the gas station and getting into a fight with gas station security guards, who did point guns at them. heather: new concerns about the
