what's going to happen in boston today? it is sunshine all the way across the board. a bit of a sea breeze may keep the temperature back just a couple of degrees right near the shoreline, but inland we should be seeing the high temperatures right up around 80 degrees, and maybe the low 80s in a few spots. that sea breeze that's setting up, inland a westerly breeze, most of the day today, and humidity and temperatures start to come up a bit tomorrow, and much more on thursday, and i am tracking thunderstorms for friday. we'll talk more about that thunderstorm threat coming up in a few minutes. but now it is time to check on morning. weather is beautiful. i hope the traffic is, as well. how is it, olessa? >> i wish that i could say that it was. a live look outside. and you can see the bridge here, this does not look too bad, southbound, but let's get to the maps because there are a few problem spots. south of town, we're watching this crash. 24 northbound, by 106, and you have delays back to 495, and the accident cleared on 128 at the braintree split but picks up the volume. about 25 minutes, braintree into

this crash involving an overturned car. this is on 495 north by 111 in foxborough. 93 south, delays south of 495. and then stop and go down to the bridge. so far trains and buses on schedule. randy: breaking overnight a delivery person is hurt after a shooting in boston. this was the scene at 1:30 this morning. in the dorchester neighborhood, the extent of the victim's injuries is unclear and police have said nothing about any arrests. right now police are searching for the man who dragged a woman to a playground and attacked her. emily: sera congi is live in boston with was we learned overnight. sera. sera: boston police say the man was on a blue bmx-type bike, and he told the victims that he had a knife. this happened in the south end near the area of greenwich park and claremont streets around 1:00 a.m. on monday. that is where the woman was approached by the man on the bike stating that he had a

carter playground where she was sexually assaulted. he ran towards davenport street. the victim described the man as hispanic, late 20s to mid moves, with brown, cropped hair. he had tattoos on his right arm and the back of his right hand. boston police are hoping anyone with information will come forward. sera congi, newscenter 5. emily: thank you. new this morning, prosecutors are calling for severe restrictions for the state trooper accused of range and girlfriend. robert sunberg boasted about his ankleel bracelet and threatened to bury the victim. he was released on bail after pleading not guilty to 14 counts of abuse. >> right now there is still some cleaning up to be done in concord, massachusetts after a tornado ripped through a section of that community. we're getting a look at the damage done there.

emily: thanks, emily. the state department is looking into 15,000 emails from clinton's private server uncovered as part of an fbi investigation. the department says the communications contain both personal and work relate material. a conservative legal group wants the emails released. earlier this summer the justice department accepted the fbi recommendation not to press criminal charges against clinton. randy: with restoration work underway in the massachusetts senate chamber on on be doing business in another part of the historic building. when the new term begins in january, senators will be meeting in the garden auditorium and another meeting room at the state house. the deterioration is being corrected. new this morning, the head of the embattled boston school is spelling out plans to address concerns in the classrooms. an investigators found school leaders failed to address six complaints about racial incidents, forcing the

day you are being greeted with. we have sunshine and cool temperatures, and the high temperature is in chrome. not just in new england, but really the eastern half of the united states right now. it's going to take a while for that air mass to move its way off to the east. once it does, then the humidity comes back, and then so do the threat of thunderstorms, but nothing really going on. we're going to be enjoying that all day today, in fact, here's the way the map looks through the entire day. by 8:00, did you know that you could notice any difference? not much going on. let's go see through tomorrow we're not talking about anything really moving to the forecast. maybe on thursday, we start to finally see a bit of cloud cover out there. so right now, you have temperatures which are off the morning lows but still cool. look at that. new hampshire, down to 45 degrees, and norwood not far behind at 46, and taunton, just 47 degrees. and beautiful sunrise this morning. and it did not happen until 6:00 a.m. straight up. that's where we've been losing about 2.5 minutes each day, and 61 degrees right now, the dewpoint is way, way down.

comfortable you will feel. when it's in the 70s it's awful, that's where it was yesterday morning, today we're in a really comfortable place. so today, sunny and comfortable. 78 to 82 degrees, and then for tonight, clear and comfortable again. probably not as cold as last night but 56 to 60 degrees for august. that's pretty refreshing weather we're talking about. the tropics have become very active. not one or two but three separate systems we're talking about. we have got, of course, fiona. and this one doesn't have a name became a named system 24 hours ago. the winds are at 35 miles per hour. it will drift closer to the east coast. you almost wish it would hit the east coast because right now it's a big, wet sponge, and what i would give it some beneficial rain. this one does not have a name, the computer models are hinting it will head towards the bahamas and towards florida but not looking like a lot of development going on. it may get a name over the next

full fledged hurricane within the next 24 to 48 hours. right now the computer models are tracking it well off the east coast but it is one to keep a close eye on, and any time you have got a hurricane in the atlantic, you want to be on guard. no changes in this forecast, it's sunshine, tuesday through thursday, and humidity comes up a bit on thursday. so does the heat. and by friday, thunderstorms are back into the forecast. this is a hit or mi and the weekend looking good. do you have any weekend plans? i know it's only tuesday. >> usually my plans involve sleep. mike: i can't blame you on that one. olessa: very exciting life i lead. the roads are quiet, as far as the volume goes but we are watching a new problem spot, that's the southbound heading to the bottom of the screen. traffic is getting by. whether it's see the rest of your ride, south of town we're watching this problem. 24 northbound, a crash just clearing by 106 with delays back

hour. right now police are searching for a suspect after a woman is sexually assaulted at knifepoint. that suspect rode up on a bike on claremont street yesterday morning, forced the victim to the carter playground where she was attacked. and right now president barack obama is getting ready to head to louisiana to tour the storm damage after that flooding in the baton rouge area. emily: we are learning new details about a deadly accident involving a party bus in east boston. randy: the eye's doug family is saying. doug: good morning. it's still unclear exactly what led up to the women falling out of that party bus. one of the victims' families are questioning the company's story. we're talking about the family of 27-year-old tracy paniagua. she fell into the window. that's what the family says, and then it pops open dumping her and another won onto the street, but the bus company says the women were likely trying to open it because it requires significant pressure.

of the passengers repeatedly mentioned opening the window for air. her family just wants some answers. >> her mom wants people to remember her as a happy girl. she lived her life to the fullest. doug: police are saying it appears a second car may have run over those women, but they stress that the investigation is still in the early stages. we're live in east boston this morning, doug meehan, wcvb. emily: thank look at this video. a man at a bar climbs over the counter to make off with an impressive piece of patriots' memorabilia. a brazen crime with an even more surprising twist. take a look again, police say this guy came into skipjacks in foxborough during the past pre-season game against the saints. he was served a beer and food and helped himself to something else. >> he jumped over the bar after moving his bill. got the helmet.

stayed calm. took his tom brady jersey off and covered the helmet with it and wrapped it up and walked out reporter: that helmet was signed by the team. the suspect called the next day and admitted his crime and said that he had fed-exed the helmet back to them because he felt bad. they are still waiting. randy: right now a worcester man is behind bars charged with shooting and killing his neighbor. it happened on hamilton street last night. the ground arms apart waiting for officers when they arrived. the victim was found on the front lawn. it is not clear what started the dispute. right now a toddler found unresponsive in a lowell swimming pool is improving but a three-year-old boy also pulled out of the water is in critical condition. it happened at a home on freda lane. the circumstances surrounding the incident are still unclear. emily: it took two years but now
