in brookline, john atwater, wcvb newscenter 5. ed:ed: more breaking news. a worker falling off a scaffolding three stories off the ground. maria: shaun chaiyabhat is near shattuck street where it happened. reporter: the worker was taken away to the hospital in serious condition after this really bad fall. i'm going to step out of the way so you can see behind me the entire harvard medical school building. it is being worked on. police and emergency personnel arrived, around 2:00 this afternoon. the worker somehow fell off the scaffolding. he fell about three stories. i spoke with one worker who says the victim is a brick layer. he estimated the follows about 50-60 feet, and the victim lay it -- landed on a plank below. he was not moving, but did have a pulse, and looked to have very serious head and neck injuries. the victim was rushed to the hospital in serious condition.

paniagua who died sunday, when she fell from the party bus. this is a picture of tracy's smiling face onboard the rather dark entourage livery bus. this is the last photo of her alive. her boyfriend says it was a lingerie party on the bus. tracy died shy of her 27th birthday we also learned the other surviving victim was tracy's best friend. tracy's mom believes her daughter dancing maybe accidentally bumped into the window. the family believes what ever -- >> in the window like this. and the window opened or fell, i don't know. my daughter found. i don't know. reporter: would it make any sense that she was trying to open the window? >> no. no. reporter: the family believes whatever went wrong was not tracy's fault. the bus company says a passenger on the bus had repeatedly been trying to open the window

investigating and eager for more passengers to speak up. the family here in dorchester has had zero contact with the party bus company. they consider that quite inconsiderate and adds to their frustration. back to you. maria: thank you. a worcester man facing a judge today, charged with shooting and killing his neighbor. it happened on hamilton street last night. police say 42-year-old jacinto maldonado shot 24-year-old carlos maldonado. the two are not related. police say jacinto maldonado found the suspect lying t it's not clear what started the dispute. ed: a delivery person is hurt after a shooting in dorchester. this was the scene around 1:30 this morning on norwell street. the extent of the victim's injuries is unclear. no word on any arrests. president obama visiting the areas hardest hit by flooding in louisiana. maria: 60,000 homes all damaged there. thousands of residents have been

police trooper accused of violently beating a police chase suspect in may is expected to plead guilty on thursday. ed: andrew monaco is expected to enter guilty pleas to three counts of simple assault stemming from his use of force in connection with the may 11 arrest of richard simone of worcester. during the arrest, simone was seen in sky 5 helicopter video , apparently kneeling on the ground, before troopers from massachusetts and new hampshire ran up and started to violently beat him. maria: the new head of the embattled boston latin school is spelling out plans to address concerns in the classroom. complaints about racial incidents forcing the headmaster to resign. returning long time headmaster michael contompasis says teachers will undergo targeted training this year and set new expectations for for students. ed: police now say some of the animals found dead on a westport farm died of starvation. more than 1,000 animals were taken from the site earlier this month many of them dead, injured and mistreated. investigators are pouring over evidence found at the farm
