ed: i'm ed harding. police say the attacker had recently been released from prison and that helped them make an arrest. newscenter 5's shaun chaiyabhat is live in boston to explain. boston police, closing the door on that violent crime that suspect's prior crime helped police them catch him. >> i want to thank the female in this case, the victim, the poor victim who suffered this, for being so brave and coming forward. due to her bravery in her making a positive identification we were able to lock this individual up. sen. sandersmonday it 1:00 a.m.d the young woman with a knife. he forced her to a playground a half a mile away where he raped her. that young woman gave police a good description of her attacker. but the suspect left a digital clue at the scene. police discovered a gps monitor. in the area during the crime.

he was taken to the hospital. a construction worker is in the hospital with serious injuries after falling three stories off scaffolding at harvard medical school. it happened around 2:00 this afternoon. another worker at the scene on shattuck street tells us the victim is a bricklayer. he estimates the fall was about 50 to 60 feet. the victim landed on a plank below. maria scott brown is denying : accusations of sexual harassment made by a former fox news anchor. brown is named in a lawsuit against roger ailes and other fox news executives. newscenter 5's david bienick spoke with brown today and joins us live rye, new hampshire where he lives. david scott brown says he's : ready to swear under oath that the accusations against him are false. if this case goes to trial, he might get that chance. scott brown and his wife gail stepped outside their home
