an 18-year-old girl. he faces new charges including kidnapping and rape. >> we're happy we have him in custody. he was a dangerous individual. shaun: would that arrest fears now called in the south end. at 1 a.m. police say he threatened a woman with a knife, forced her half a mile to this playground and raped h. want to thank her very much for having the courage to step forward and work with us to get this dangerous felon off the street. >> that arrest thanks to the victim id her attacker and thanks to his own prior crime. he left prison in december after serving eight years for similar rape. police say he was wearing his gps monitor during the attack.

the street in brookline is in the hospital tonight with serious injuries after part of a tree that was being cut down fell right on top of him. it happened in an alley near commonwealth ave. a tree company was working in the area. the victim is a 29-year-old worker at the nearby herb chambers car dealership. >> i came down to check it out and there was a guy laying there with all the branches on top of him. >> it is pretty sad. someone you see every day and to see it happen to him like that is sad. : name. herb chambers released a statement tonight saying he's praying for the young man and his family. a construction worker seriously hurt after falling off scaffolding at harvard medical school. it happened around 2:00 this afternoon on shattuck street. we're told the worker was a bricklayer. and fell about 50 feet landing on a plank below. scott brown, firing back at allegations of sexual
