learning more about a boston rape case. here new information. >> we're at carter playground, the scene of a rape early monday morning. we now know the defendant in this case was wearing a gps monitoring device during the attack. part of the punishment for a rape conviction dating back to 2007. the defendant is this man. eduardo rodriguez. he was allowed to stand behind the door during an arraign. kidnapping and armed robbery. he accosted the victim as she was acosted on claremont street. >> told her, he had a knife and threatened to cut her throat if she did not comply. >> he was released from prison late last year after serving an eight-year sentence for rape in

gps tracking device. he cut it off a few hours later and there had been a prior violation with his gps monitoring device that led the probation department to seek an arrest earlier this year. tonight he's being held on half a million in bail. >> two people arrested and sent to the hospital when they collide with a school bus. >> the two people injured were in the car. there is no word on their condition. neighbors heard the crash, ran to he kids on the bus were hurt. they were on their way to camp. >> some of the kids were in the back and they landed on top of each other because they were seated to closely together. >> it looked like it was turning left on a small side street. >> a pilot was forced to make an emergency landing yesterday afternoon after experiencing engine problems.

discussing thousand actually get it off the sand bar. the pilot was not hurt in this. right now a man hit by a tree limb in brookline is in critical condition. the tree company was working in the area but it's still unclear what caused that branch to fall. the victim is a 29-year-old man. he works nearby at the car dealership. the man's name has not yet been released. >> we're getting reports of a significant tornado in indianapolis, near the major city. >> in the heart of tornado count country. harvey is tracking it for us. harv: there is a tornado warning until 4:45 including indianapolis. when you see you go from the dark greens to the bright reds that shows a rapid change in wind direction and speed very close to each other. that signifies usual lay tornado.

these are some of the communities near indianapolis that are being impacted. at one point there was a report of large tornado on the ground. it's a very dangerous situation out in indianapolis at this time. we'll stay on top of that as well as tracking the tropics. we have gaston, close to become a hurricane. the greater concern is the tropical wave headed towards the bahamas or florida as we go through the next three to five days with some chance that lots to follow in severe weather and the tropics. our local forecast is coming up in a few anyone's. >> tonight, donald trump returning to new hampshire. trump is set to hold a campaign rally tomorrow afternoon. >> today the presidential candidate was in tampa standing by his position on immigration. >> bad things will be happen. we're going to build a wall, don't worry about it.
