shoulders. -- that goes past hirsch -- brown hair that goes past her shoulders. she turns and looks at something across the street area g is briefly looking across the street before she continues. there has been one arrest in connection with this case. on sunday, july 10 police arrested 16-year-old jose altuve handwrote fernandez of east boston. he was arraigned -- hos jose alondra o'hearn and as of east boston. block alain as was face down bloody having suffered a dramatic injury. if you recognize the young woman in the surveillance video you're asked to call boston police. you can provide information anonymously to boston police by texting the word tip to crime, 274 63.

also breaking, two people now under arrest in the stabbing death of a teenager in new bedford last night. police say mateo morales was killed and a 22-year-old man and 16-year-old boy with stab loans. luis rafael is inspected in court today charged with accessory to murder after the fact. a 16-year-old boy is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. dozens are homeless after this powerful fire in lawrence flames breaking out in an abandoned building spreading to others. todd kazakiewich is live with new details from that scene. todd: behind me you can see the shell of the building where this fire started. number 29 summer street. there is not much left aside from the white siding. damage to the surrounding building is extensive. the mayor says this fire results from the convergence of

the mayor says 29 summer street was occupied by homeless people just before these flames lit up the sky early this morning. >> because of the homelessness issue we have somebody using inappropriate space. todd: investigators are working to determine the exact cause of this for alarm fire but this is the effect. heat so intense the siding of a nearby home is melted off. flames jumping to other houses in this narrow neighborhood. loss best yet shall fire building is a complete loss. exposure on the delta side, the right-hand side of the house, only a four inch alleyway. todd: residents of those surrounding buildings, nearly 30 people, evacuated not knowing the fate of the places they call home. >> do you know how extensive the damage to your home is? >> i don't know yet. todd: mayor rivera calls the abandoned house a problem

officers are in day 2 of body camera training. 100 officers across the city are strapped with the cameras for the training session. it selected at random after none volunteered to be part of the training. mayor walsh says there is still a lot of work to do with the cameras. officers he spoke with were concerned about the unknown and he says they had a lot of questions. >> a situation where they have a camera on, aer the witness does not want to be at the divide so there are a lot of those questions that have to be answered. emily: the police union promised to fight same participation in the training had to be voluntary. a third-party selected the officers. the full program is set to roll out next month. donald trump is in new hampshire today. he will hold a rally in manchester within the hour one day after calling hillary

clear. homes in pieces, cars on top of one another and footage treats almost impossible to drive down -- flooded streets almost impossible to drive down. we're talking about hundreds of people displaced. cindy: fortunately there are warnings coming out. people taking them seriously taking cover. between indiana and ohio yesterday 42 reports of tornadoes. not all of those confirmed but quite a lot. those is working toward us for tomorrow. we'll chance of seeing showers and storms, nothing like that coming our way but we will take any rain we could squeeze out of those storms. a chance we get a shower or two. a better chance that we get a couple of showers and a thunderstorm on friday and that's it for rainfall opportunities as we work toward the upcoming weekend. when you go back to june, july and august, since june 1 we have

we stand in the driest slot with 3.92 inches of rain in boston. if we managed to get rain tomorrow at the system it might knocked us back down into the number two spot but certainly this has been one of if not the driest summer on record in the boston area. still monitoring the tropics and we have a tropical wave we're watching. overnight guest on develops into a hurricane. should stay that way for a couple of days and perhaps reach strengthen as we get to the weekend. by early next week, east of bermuda. it appears the this is not going to bother land areas and then we have a tropical wave. these clouds are tremendous. showers and thunderstorms bringing heavy rain reports of hispaniola, the dominican republic. the area of low

couple more degrees. most spots between 85 and 90 away from the south coast. clouds mixing in the notice dry weather through the evening. after sunset when those temperatures fall into the 70's. there are some clouds and showers to the west. there's a front that will trigger our shower and thunderstorm threat tomorrow. more humid air is working in. the oppressive humidity is going to start to work in tonight and that's not going to allow temperatures to drop. mostts to use the air-conditioning. notice we get a few clouds in here this afternoon. showers and storms, fall apart before they move in so it should be dry when you wake up tomorrow morning. temperatures once again going up close to 90 degrees but were going to watch for showers and thunderstorms starting to come in. toward lunchtime, there might be a couple better chance of that toward midafternoon hours. about 2:00 to 4:00 p.m..

shifting into southeastern massachusetts and once we get toward sunset things should be winding down. once that front clears the area, less humid air, sunshine and more comfortable temperatures moving in for the weekend. last weekend of august. emily: i can't believe it. for the first time american top dr. is reaching out to all doctors about the opioid epidemic. the surgeon general sending a letter asking for help to solve the health crisis. 165,000 people nationwide died of overdoses involving pain medication and the numbers are staggering here in the bay state . the surgeon general is urging doctors to try other pain relief options before prescribing opioids to combat the problem. the company under fire for increasing the cost of the epipen by more than 450% says it will expand programs that lower out-of-pocket costs by up to half.
