the bodies were found in a pretty remote area in ashby. that is where we find david b nick with the latest information. david: in the last few minutes we have heard from that middlesex district attorney's office who believes they are looking at an apparent murder suicide this evening in ashby. that does not mean that this investigation will come to an end anytime quickly. scene investigator arrived here. video from sky 5 shot this afternoon shows the scene. we have highly edited it for broadcast that end from sky 5 we can see two bodies, a man and woman's body on the front yard. apparently there was gunfire involved and a neighbor told us with the street is like.

it is blocked off. not supposed to be traffic up there. a quiet place and two houses on the side, two houses on that side. david: one of those houses has seen a tragedy. neighbors have been coming by all afternoon. they did not know what was going on until maria: new drought concerns, a local community like a lot of them in desperate need of rain. this dam in ipswich is bone dry. nicole: that is the message tonight, conserve. there is plenty of water for

expected to get worse and with that the water will dwindle. >> it really is because the solutions are so easy. nicole: walking through a dam where water would be flowing, the summer drought taking its toll on the water supply. >> this time of year we would be knee-deep right here. nicole: the executive director said the problem is deeper than meets the eye. it lowers the groundwater elevations below the water of the river and the river goes dry. nikole killion: if you look around you can see some places already have hit rock bottom. we found hans completely dry, 75% of massachusetts now under drought conditions. back at the ipswich dam and the river that supplies it a collision course with an unfortunate record. >> i have never seen it this low . we are on track to be the worst

rock-bottom, 30 million gallons of water a day drawn from here, the solution so simple it is frustrating. >> we have plenty of water for people and nature. simple things like planting a bluegrass lawn reduces your water needs 60%. the coal: 60% may sound odd that's like a lot, things like turning off the water when you are brushing your help. ben: the drought is getting worse. some of us saw some rain but it was quick, certainly not new enough. we need a couple of days of rain. harvey: we need a slow rain. the range we have been getting, they hit really hard and there is no chance to soak in. if you put the statistics together we are going down is the driest summer on record.

nuns in mississippi. one of the victims was born and raised in massachusetts. sister paula merrill, seen here, is from stoneham. as a sister of charity for nazareth, she saw countless patients who could not afford medical care. police believe the nuns were the victims of a break-in. police in rockport need your help right now. they are trying to make an arrest in a violent attack. the crime happened on pooles lane around 9:30 p.m. wednesday night. the man seen in these surveillance pictures from a nearby convenience store matches the description of the alleged attack police say a woman in her 50's was out for a walk when she was attacked from behind and knocked to the ground. >> her continued screaming she believes scared her off. he got into a bicycle and left the area heading down toward the train station. clicks rockport is a very safe immunity. ben: rockport police don't know if the man in the surveillance pictures is local at this point they are not calling him a suspect. they just want to identify and
