brother's pizza on boston road. the victim, stabbed in the back. 57-year-old barbara tucker left the restaurant after the alleged attack. the lowell sun reports she stabbed the victim, her daughter's former boyfriend, after her daughter's apparent overdose. the daughter was found dead yesterday. tucker, a nurse at tewksbury state hospital, pleaded not guilty in court today. anchor: relief in shirley today, where police determined a driver who approached a female runner does not pose a threat at all. the jogger was alarmed yesterday when a van pulled up beside her, she noticed a second man sitting in the backseat and sprinted away. police tracked down the driver, a 71-year-old retired veteran who transports handicapped individuals to doctors appointments which explains the second person in the back seat. the chief said the woman told her friends what happened, and then other people shared the information on social media, with some incorrect information.

anchor: other people share that information on social media with incorrect information. police are encouraged people always contact them if they notice anything suspicious. helicopter pilot forced to make an emergency landing today in peabody. it was just before 2-30 that the pilot experienced a mechanical part malfunction. the chopper landing near peabody's water treatment plant. the pilot says they were flying off-shore, when he felt a power surge and decided to turn >> if i had kept on going, beyond here, there's a lot of population, i don't wanna be coming down in somebody's back yard. i saw this, i felt that surge, and i said something's not right. anchor: the pilot and his passengers are all ok. the helicopter will be repaired and removed tomorrow.
