dangerous as hermine approaches. and the island queen ferry decided today to cancel its ferry service to martha's vineyard for sunday and monday. ferry operators say the seas might become too rough and they didn't want to take a chance of leaving passengers stranded on the island. >> it made sense where people are making their travel plans for the weekend that we let them know sunday, monday, we are not going to be running. if they wanted to make alternative arrangements for returning home vineyard, they can be thinking about that now. david: back at the beach, lifeguards also want swimmers to know they won't be here to watch them this weekend. with schools returning to session, many lifeguards are returning to class, leaving the beach unstaffed. lifeguards say tropical storms can sometimes bring another danger, jellyfish who ride on the warm water currents. live in falmouth, david bienick, wcvb newscenter 5. ed: yes, they do.

federal investigators back in march. weadick's attorney talking this afternoon outside federal court in south boston saying his client is innocent. >> he is ready to fight. he is ready to fight. he is ready to put this behind him. ben: if convicted both men could get the death penalty. heather and ed? ed: it has happened again. an uber driver charged with raping a passenger, this time in boston. heather: newscenter 5's nicole estaphan is live in dorchester where that driver was in court today. nicole: that driver charged with two counts of rape and two counts indecent assault and battery. uber driver michael vedrine face a judge this morning. the victim claims she was using the service when vedrine stopped the car on ross road in dorchester. she then told police he started to touch her inappropriately inside the car. when she got out, she says the vedrine hugged her from behind and put his hands in her pants.
