a woman was hit and killed by a car driven by her husband. it happened at 2:30 p.m. she was in instead of the scene. jc 5 investigates learning the : state attorney general's office has been contacted as thousands of criminal cases go under review in norfolk county. we first reported this week an audit found the braintree police evidence room in disarray. sources telling 5 investigates hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash, drugs, guns and other criminal cases from 2013 through may of this year are now under review. the da's office has already identified some cases that may be impacted, and they believe prosecution of hundreds more could be effected. the attorney general's office declined to comment. >> an uber driver is accused of sexually assaulting a passenger in boston, michael vedrine of brockton faced a judge in dorchester district court this morning. the victim told police he dropped her off on ross road

behind her and assaulting her. vedrine told police the two had intercourse but it was consensual. he will be back in court on october 13. former new england mob boss frank salemme and another man both indicted today in the 1993 killing of a boston nightclub owner. salemme and paul weadick are charged with murdering a federal witness, steven disarro. the indictment alleges that salemme, weadick and salemme's son participated in disarro's killing to prevent him from talking to law enforcement. his remains were discovered by federal investigators back in march. if convicted, both men could get the death penalty. jc: on on camera. a baby is left alone in a running car in new bedford. a woman left her baby and purse in the car while she went into the convenience store. she came out your minutes later and dismisses the man who shot

detroit to outline policies that will impact minorities. the fbi has released dozens of documents from its investigation into hillary clinton's private email server. the documents include summaries of interviews with clinton and several aides. they also provide technical details about how the server in clinton's home was set up. the investigation found clinton never asked for permission to use a private server during her time at the state department. the fbi recommended no prosecution against clinton in july. >> clinton has no scheduled events today. but next week her former rival will stump for her in new hampshire. senator bernie sanders will speak with labor groups monday on behalf of clinton. he endorsed clinton in mid-july during an event in portsmouth. an ohio speech by green party presidential candidate jill stein was delayed after the candidate flew to the wrong city. stein was scheduled to address students today at capital

water temperatures are nice and toasty in the south coast and still fairly decent across the north. this tornado watch which is not unusual in the eastern and northeastern parts, now a tropical storm. the storm will reemerge over the water but before that happens high-pressure for tonight into tomorrow. once hermine gets back off the coast there's some room for ran transportation which will take place later mo into sunday. here is all the different computer models. notice how they are clustered. it gets weird and strange and looping because it will just about stall in this zone. i do not tickets super close to us. that is why it looks more like a fringe affect for the south coast and the cape but those effects could last for a while because of the slow movement.

afternoon for north of boston stays pretty sunny. the first of the rain is not likely to come in until we get to later sunday or sunday night on the cape and they built northward into the boston area when we get into monday. labor day is the best chance of having some periodic downpours. here are the wind gust building on the island and the cape sunday, there could be some gusts 40 miles an hour or greater along the south coast, southeastern mass and the cape. big wave action closer to the storm. there will be new to waves south of our water and even on our water, 10 to 15 what sees could help. rough surf and rip current risk increasing from sunday on. for sunday night and monday, possibly into tuesday, we are putting that as weather impact
