police arrested three of and escorted the rest from the building. the court battle is settled. boston police officers will be assigned body cameras as part of a pilot program. ben simmoneau is here with reaction. ben: boston police commissioner william evans says bpd's body camera pilot program will now start first thing monday morning >> it's lousy that it played union, and so i don't like to say it's a victory. we're just going to move forward. over two days this week the police union fought the city in court to prevent it from assigning cameras to officers. but judge douglas wilkins ed friday in favor of the city criticizing the police union for insisting the program be voluntary and then telling its members not to volunteer.
