than the murder itself is the fact that her family says her son witnessed his own father choke the life out of his mother. >> the boy woke up and the father was on top of her. reid: the boy was unheard, taken to a relative's house, where the mother called police. sh was found unresponsivee yesterday and pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. the time. we knew that it was no good. reid: court papers paint a very tumultuous relationship. in 2012 the 32-year-old kidnapped her and her son, tying her up in the trunk of a car before she managed to escape to new jersey. in a 2011 restraining order she says her ex-boyfriend grabbed her by the hair, slammed her, and threatened to kill her

including attempted murder and kidnapping. despite that violence, she modified a permanent restraining order so that she and the defendant could, in her words, "can do things together as a family." and once again, an arrest warrant has been issued over the past couple hours. anyone with information is urged to contact police. reid lamberty, wcvb newscenter 5. investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed. investigators say the 70-year-old woman was walking on hobart street when the crash happened. the victim was rushed to the hospital, but did not survive her injuries. the driver stopped and is cooperating with police. investigators are looking into whether solar glare may have caused the crash. looking live at the city temperatures stretching into the 80's today. there is slight risk for storms

jc: a murder warrant has now been issued for the man suspected of killing the mother of his 4-year-old son. emilio delarosa, the target of an on-going manhunt. the victim, 29-year-old wanda rosa, was murdered in her methuen home on monday. delarosa had served prison time for attacking the victim in the past. ben: picture-perfect out there. jc: gorgeous. but there the boston chamber of commerce is on a winning streak with the weather. low 80's, warm, but humid. still nice and clear, great for the red sox game starting around 76 degrees from the first pitch. boston won't be as cool tonight, other areas will still be comfortable but not as comfortable. this front will come through
