police about what happened. >> confirms what family members told us on the day of the murder, that the couple's 4 year old son was lying right next to his mother in bed. his father strangled her. according to the arrest warrant issued yesterday the boy first told family members, my daddy shook my mommy. is mommy is dead. he also told police that his father choked his mother with two hands and left her on the ground and covered her with a purple blanketdd didn't say anything because she died. the boy was not hurt. he's now staying with the family of the victim. the family has a very difficult task of removing personal items from the home. in the meantime, they are looking for the suspect. >> sky 5, the eastbound side is

two people in the car were taken to beth israel medical center, one with serious injuries. >> a toddler is hospitalized of getting hit by a car. rondela richardson is live right there with the 911 call. rhondella, it appears to be a terrible accident. >> the toddler, a 2-year-old, at the plus medical center radiology department. there were no outward signs of injury but the concern now is for internal and the fire chief says when they first arrived they couldn't find the killed. he was in the bushes, and were 911 calls. everyone was waiting for the morning school bus. >> we found a -- he was thrown a distance from the roadway into

. it was 8:30 this morning. he walked with his mom literally one house away at strawberry lane home. when police stay child darted out and was hit by a car. the 44 year old driver did stop and will not be charged. first responders now reminding all motorists to use caution especially at school bus stopings. >> a worcester man man with a machete. he was in court for what police say was a wild case of alleged road rage. rivera pulled a machete on the another driver and punched him in the face. charges including threatening to mur. >> the man charged with a deadly drunk driving crash along i-95 has been ordered to undergo a 28 day detox. 22-year-old nathaniel armstrong appearing in court for a dangerousness hearing.

in the breakdown lane on saturday killing 45-year-old man from newberry court. armstrong will be back in court for a pretrial hearing next month. >> police have identified the name of the boston university student who was struck and killed by a commuter train last week. his body was found on the tracks just after midnight last wednesday. foul play is not expected. police are calling the 17-year-old's death a tragic accident saying he may not have heard the train coming until it was too late. >> jury selection in thco sampson is under way. a federal judge threw out sampson's initial death penalty sentence because a juror lied about her background. sampson was sentenced to die for carjacking and killing jonathan rizzo of kingston and a man from taunton during a week long crime spree in 2001. he confessed he stabbed both men that same week he strangled a former city counselor.

possibly with some thunder and lightning is now southeast of worcester. you can see it's been moving off to the southeast so we put the stormtracker on that, and this particular downpour continues to move toward melville, as it continues southeastward. the other area is a line of downpours moving from concord closing in on man chester. as that moves southeastward it could get the northeast corner of massachusetts during next couple of hours. by 8:00 or 9:00 it will be offshore. after that drier and cooler air will come in. what a difference. it will feel so different tomorrow morning. by the way, we hit 90 degrees today in boston. yet again. here's all the sunshine you can expect for both thursday and friday, along with the cooler temperatures and the definite feel of fall. with any storms, heavy rain can
