south of town, 24 slow out of brockton, expressway, almost 20, braintree to boston, doing ok. emily: police investigating a serious motorcycle accident in woburn. it happened at 11:00 on salem street. we're told the operator was injured. a passenger on that motorcycle is expected to be ok. randy: a search resumes shortly for a missing swimmer. rescuers did comb a pond in plymouth for hours. emily: they are facing several sera? sera: emily and randy, what is now being called a recovery mission is expected to resume here this morning at around 6:30. that 26-year-old person jumping into the herring pond yesterday afternoon and never resurfacing. plymouth police say he was one of three on a boat in the middle of the pond. the boat was not anchored, and then when they jumped in to go swimming the boat drifted away.

right now, police in manchester, new hampshire are investigating a shooter. investigates were called to the intersection of merrimack and beach street at 7:00 last night. they were on the scene for three hours. the victim was taken to the hospital. we have not heard of any arrests in this case or what led to the shooting. a dollar three employee is under arrest after a customer caught him taking a photo or video up her skirt. malden police who worked at the store was taken into custody. no word on when he's expected to be in court. emily: a story first exposed by 5 investigates, cash, weapons, drugs missing from a braintree evidence room. the eye's erika tarantal is here with the impact. erika. erika: accused criminals are walking free because of the missing he did, and that's not all. the audit goes back to 1999. it found sexual assault kits

according to new documents their four-year-old boy witnessed the attack and told police his mom was dead. police in townsend are saying that a reported attempted abduction never happened. three young teenage boys said they were approached by a man near the town library. they said one was attacked. police tell our media partners they found no evidence supporting that claim. randy: a neighborhood scare in new hampshire ends after police find officers swarmed through mill pond crossing and residents were ordered to shelter in place as they assess the situation. police defended this aggressive response after a lesson was learned on this same street. you may recall this two years ago. that's when brentwood police officer stephen arkell was shot and killed.

location is accused of taking upskirting photos of a customer. police have not released the employee's name, and in plymouth, a search resuming right now for a missing swimmer. that man went under yesterday at herring pond. the murky water has been making the recovery mission difficult for crews. randy: right now a teenager is facing several charges accused in a violent robbery attempt in beverly. emily: antoinette antonio is live where that suspect is in court >> that 17-year-old facing very serious charges here in court today accused of stabbing a man at a home in beverly. those charges include home invasion, armed assault, with intent to murder as well as assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. police say that all of this happened last night in beverly at a home on livingstone avenue last night. the teenager is accused of bursting into that home, demanding money, and then stabbing a 25-year-old man

hospital with several stab wounds, but his condition this morning is unclear. police eventually tracked the teenage suspect down in a nearby backyard. police are not yet releasing that 17-year-old's identity because he is a juvenile. we are live in salem, antoinette antonio, wcvb newscenter 5. emily: an unusual idea to fight prostitution. the district attorney along with the human traffickingas the herald reports this is part of an effort to reduce the sex trade by 20% over the next year. the class would be a requirement for men charged with solicitation in an effort to make them more aware of the clients they are supporting. randy: uber cars are on the roads in pittsburgh, and won't be long before something similar is tested in boston. it's a story we first were reporting yesterday here on the eyeopener. the city leaders plan to launch an autonomous study by the end

make it easier to get medical marijuana, they are proposing an overhaul of the program that launched three years ago, rules would allow nurse practitioners to certify the patients for marijuana use. and allow the dispensaries to post product prices online. the plan also calls for allowing the dispensaries to deliver to patients in health facilities. the agency is expected to hold a public meeting before a final proposal. good news from a study on early stage prostate cancer. researcher say that there is almost no rates over ten years between men who monitor their prostate cancer and those who undergo radiation and surgery, but those who did have treatment cut in half the risk of the cancer spreading. doctors say that may have an impact on the survival rates over 15 or 20 years. the studies were published in the new england journal of medicine. randy: you are so smart but where does it come from? there is a new study that claims your sportscom from your mom. intelligence genes are on the x

expected to return to herring pond to resume their effort. divers say that some dark and grassy waters underneath when looking for a 26-year-old swimmer who jumped in at 4:00 yesterday afternoon. he was one of three on a boat that drifted. one made it back to the boat and another made it to shore, the crews combed the water for four hours yesterday for that missing swimmer. and today, crews will be bringing in sonar equipme along herring pond, sera congi, wcvb newscenter 5. >> a 17-year-old is facing several serious charges here at salem juvenile court accused in a home invasion and stabbing a man several times. all of this happened last night on livingstone street in beverly. that teenager is accused of bursting into a home, demanding money, and then stabbing a 25-year-old man inside.
