carolinas. tropical storm julia weakening and staying to our south but some of the tropical moisture may try to connect and feed with the front. as it moves toward us it may enhance the rainfall potential. we need the rain. more than 50% of the state is covered in what's considered extreme drought. this isn't just this year. if you gock to last year as well, the two-year drought is up over 17, area. so we do need the rainfall here. we'll get a little this weekend. clear, cool tonight if you're heading to fenway park. clear skies will take us through the night. we'll recover nicely as the humidity increases. this is slow to get in so i think it may take until later sunday before we get to the rainfall. but there will be a shower risk
