debates made the official decision today. they could qualify for the two debates in october if their national polling average hits 15%. ed: new at 7:00, we will not be finding out how much taxpayer money was used for marathon bomber dzhokhar tsarnaev's defense. a federal judge ruled today the release of the defense costs should not be made public yet. the boston globe filed a motion to see the information. federal law requires the release of the information when the case is over. but the judge says the case will not be over unl appeal is decided. right now, police in easton are searching for a suspect after a woman is attacked while out walking her dog. it happened just after 6:00 a.m. yesterday morning in the area of foundry street. the victim says she was kicked from behind and briefly lost consciousness. police say she may also have been sexually assaulted. the young man and woman who raped a teen and posted it on

probation. the two were convicted in july for the assault behind a saugus elementary school 2 years ago. a third person pleaded guilty to videotaping the attack. in court today, prosecutors said the two had no remorse. leaving the courthouse, kailyn bonia's aunt said that's not the case. >> she is very sorry. i don't think she realizes how ed: that was the defendant's father. not much to say as their family left after the sentencing. both will also have to register as sex offenders. maria: a bridgewater state student has taken back her claim that someone tried to rape her. the unidentified woman claimed she was attacked on summer street near campus. she said a man wearing a ski mask put a bag over her head, then tried to tear her clothes off. the claim put the college on high alert most of the day but the police say the student eventually said the attack never

taunton man accused in a fatal drug overdose. scott reynolds is charged with manslaughter and several drug crimes for the death last april of marc esperanca. the 25-year-old esperanca died of an overdose of fentanyl, a powerful painkiller. prosecutors say the victim bought the drug from reynolds, who was allegedly selling drugs out of his girlfriend's house. that girlfriend also faces drug charges. a second person has died as a result of a collision during a boat race on a taunton pond on saturday. our partners at the brockton enterprise reporting 67-year-old stephen joy of bangor, maine died at rhode island hospital. 39-year-old mark greene moultonborough, new hampshire was declared dead at the scene after a three-boat pileup during the bill giles memorial regatta. a third boat driver suffered minor injuries. ed: the crash is still under investigation. a wild find in a forest in western mass. take a look at all the pot plants. last night, massachusetts environmental police officers located a large marijuana grow site within the daughters of the
