john: police looked at three different videos and talked to seven different witnesses before coming to this conclusion the cell phone video lit up social media. pressuring police to take a close look at one of their own. >> he tackled him and shoved his head in the ground. john: the person taking the video claimed the officer tackled a 64-year-old and slammed his head to the ground. it shows him trip after running away. the officer in red is close behind. >> lac here is an officer -- all i see here is an officer with his foot in someone's back. >> the commissioner justified the officer's actions because at that moment, he says the officer

chase on wokallah street in roxbury nearly five years ago. boston police arrested a man named jimmy warren while looking for a break-in suspect, based on a vague description. >> he was a black man in roxbury. that is all that mattered and he had a hoodie. david the break-in had happened : thirty minutes early nearly a mile away on hutchings street. when police initially spotted warren, he ran, officers chased after him, and eventually arrested him on an unrelated charge of illegal gun possession. but today the massachusetts unanimously ruled running from police does not necessarily make someone a suspect saying, such an individual, might just as easily be motivated by the desire to avoid the recurring indignity of being racially profiled as by the desire to hide criminal activity. >> they have to have reasonable suspicion. it just cannot be that someone ran from the place and a hunch that they may be up to something. david: in its ruling, the court cited an aclu study that showed

a tribal police officer shot the man in a parking garage at the casino. the officer first confronted the man and when he showed a gun shots were fired. it is unclear what led up to the confrontation. connecticut state police are investigating. maria: two mothers from salem new hampshire are accused of being drunk while holding their infant children. police say they arrested the women in the parking lot of the rockingham mall, where they admitted to drinking. police say one was lying in a her head when the arrived. the babies were one month and four months old. >> they were barely able to take care of themselves, let alone a baby of that age who needs a lot of care and attention. maria: the babies were released to the custody of their grandparents. the two women were released on personal recognizance bail. ed: no chips, and no tags on two dogs left tied to a tree in the

animal control needs your help finding their owner. kennel staff named the dogs shellie and shelby. they were abandoned saturday. it's illegal to abandon and animal but animal control says the goal isn't to punish the owner, it's to find out what happened and offer services if reuniting dog and owner is possible. the dogs are healthy but one has a paw problem. >> she had some abrasions on the bottom of her pads. nothing -- something that would be consistent from hot pavement. in: call boston's hotline 311 if you have information about the dogs. maria: a memorial in milton to a little girl who died in the holocaust is vandalized and now her brother is heartbroken. fred manasse created this sculpture in memory of his baby sister, who was just 1 and a half when she died at a concentration camp. this sculpture sat in milton cemetery since 2014. he wonders why someone would
