tonight. the nfl network reporting jimmy garoppolo will be in uniform but he is expected to be the backup. that deadly crash on the north andover lawrence line. emily: rhondella richardson is live with what we know right now. rhondella: one person was killed. we know two pedestrians were injured. this happening on a busy stretch of route 114 about 1230 this morning. updated says a motorcycle that was traveling outbound from lawrence north andover hit to pedestrians, loss put -- lost control on the bike. the motorcyclist was ejected from the motorcycle and hit by a passing mercedes on route 114. the victim is a 64-year-old methuen man. the two people that were hit and are injured, a male taken by helicopter to a boston hospital. a female taken to lawrence

fitzgibbon's. cindy: 10:21 this morning. a tumble equinox and the drought monitor updated this morning as well. things have not changed since last week. monday we had a good soaking rain across the area. things have not really improved. still talking about severe drought. our deficit from worcester, still over eight inches for the year in boston closing ion this drought situation but at least it has not gotten any worse things to the rain. another beautiful day. all the blue sky, sunshine. just gorgeous in very comfortable. 76 degrees in boston but the dew point is in the 50's so the air has dried out but the wind is off the water so that easterly wind is keeping us in the 70's through the south shore to the cape.

boston up the cape and area looking at temperatures in the 70's. very comfortable. i pressure overhead but this frontal boundary to the north and west is the next thing we are watching. as long as there are clouds there are showers. it's really just of much cooler air. it's very mild but once you cross to the other side of that front that is where the coolest air is sitting for now. enjoy the mild temperatures while they are here. headed to gillette for the patriots game it's going to be clear and mild. kickoff is at 8:25. over the course of the game temperatures will drop back down into the 60's. probably a good idea to have a jacket with you. overnight, lots of 50's in the suburbs. low 60's downtown and tomorrow

and a lot of spots however it's not going to be as bright as today. i think we are clouding over early in the morning hours. a lot of the moisture is going to our north with us but some showers likely come through during the afternoon and behind it the door is opened and cooler air starts to work in. we need the rain. there is not a lot with this front. one to 2/10 of an inch of rain and that is the extent. showers around tomorrow. in the tropics we're watching lisa in the atlantic and carl likely will strengthen. it's not going to bother us here on the east coast. it does make it past bermuda friday night into saturday morning. we will keep a close eye on it. showers will be hit or miss. a closer look at the timing of them. by noon they are to our north. the right home tomorrow could have a few showers around the boston area. towards evening hours those who southward in they will be ending
