massive data breach at yahoo. the information of 500 million users compromised. yahoo only recently discovered the hack, but it actually happened back in 2014. it's believed the cyber-thieves stole names, email addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth and passwords. in mansfield, a fatality at a commuter rail station. the victim, a pedestrian, was hit by an amtrak train. the station was shut down for a time but has since re-opened. residual delays expected during the eveninmm anchor: more than six months after a car plowed into a restaurant in newton and killed two people a judge is trying to decide whether to release key information about the man behind the wheel. jc: new at 530 tonight, newscenter 5's david bienick joins us with how the judge's decision could affect the outcome of the case, david? reporter: the decision before the judge comes down to the public's right to know versus a

>> facing vehicular homicide charges, bradford casler, who has multiple sclerosis, walked back into court this time to try keep secret some of the evidence against him. casler's attorney told a judge what's known as the prosecution's statement of the case should remain sealed because it contains information that might bias the public against casler and make it hard for him to get a fair trial. >> it affects the potential jury pool, it taints information was already released earlier this week. specifically they don't believe his medical condition or any mechanical failure is to blame. >> the public has a keen interest in why this happened.
