did you shoot him? mary: after the gunshots, scott can be seen lying face-down on the ground while his wife says he better live. she keeps recording and asks if an ambulance has been called. the officers stand over scott. it's unclear if they are checking him for weapons or attempting to give first aid. the charlotte mayor says police have body cam and dash cam video of the shooting, but do not plan to release it until the investigation is complete. chief putney the intent is to : get it out and release it in a package so it can be consumed and fully understood. gun and that the object seen by his feet in this still photo is that weapon, keith scott's family has seen some of the police videos. they're calling for them to be made public. demonstrators agree, and filled the streets of charlotte for a third night in a row. last night's protests were mostly peaceful. earlier this week, one protester, justin carr, died in a shooting. police today announced an arrest in his death. in the newsroom, i mary saladna, wcvb newscenter 5.

arrested two teenagers. newscenter 5's jorge quiroga is live in stoughton tonight, jorge? jorge: as we speak, police continue searching for this man from your to boston. those 2 juveniles already in custody, a heavy police presence at stoughton high school as kids were released for the weekend. this time thursday, the old place was in lockdown. >> everyone was scared. jorge: an 18-year-old male from stoughton, shot once in the shoulder after an argument with 3 guys at the nearby cvs. a pair of juveniles, 15 and years old arrested overnight. ,kids he spoke to say the 2 boys are students at the high school. >> a lot of kids are talking about it. we know the kid that got shot. jorge: teens say the younger

lexington officer that you hit? sean mckeown of belmont rushed passed our camera outside concord district court without saying a word friday. the 44-year-old bartender is accused of driving drunk and hitting a detail officer working in lexington. >> he stated he had just left work at the lexx restaurant in lexington center. he said to the officers he heard his car hit something and noticed he'd hit a traffic officer. juli: frank san servino was ar jacket and standing in a generator-lit construction zone when he was hit. police say mckeown got out of his jeep but at first denied having anything to drink. >> the officer could detect a moderate odor of alcohol coming from the defendant's breath. his eyes were watery, glassy, and bloodshot. he was swaying as he spoke with officers. his speech was slightly slurred. juli: when questioned further, officers say mckeown's story changed he said he'd been drinking before leaving work just up the road. >> officers asked if he thought he was drunk.

out of the debris in aleppo rescuers pulling her to safety , this morning covered in dust and blood. she is now recovering in the hospital. that is the good news. her entire family was killed in the airstrike, part of an intensified bombing campaign on the rebel-held city. ed: now to that deadly officer-involved shooting in tulsa. the dashcam and aerial footage raising questions as to why an officer opened fire on an unarmed black man. that officer has been charged. and she surrendered to police this morning. today they gathered -- >> he was transforming his life. ed: terence crutcher was shot to death one week ago today, killed by officer betty shelby who has been charged with manslaughter. this morning she was booked and released on $50,000 bond. >> i determined the filing of the felony crime of manslaughter

tulsa police officer betty shelby is warranted. ed: officer shelby came across crutcher, whose suv had stalled in the street. she feared that he was armed, high on a substance or pcp. >> he has his hands up for her. ed: she fired the fatal shot went, she says, he reached for the family said, no way. >> his hands were up. how can he be reaching into the car. ed: tulsa police said that crutcher did not have a weapon on him or in the suv and prosecutors at the police -- add the police acted unreasonably by escalating the situation. ed: that officer has been placed on administrative leave with pay. heather: people in utah are rebuilding today, after two

state. storms hitting just before 4:00 p.m. yesterday. more than a dozen buildings were damaged, and thousands are still without power. some flooding, and golf ball-sized hail also contributing to that damage. police say no serious injuries have been reported. ed: golf ball-sized hail. heather: that is going to leave a mark. mike: they are going through the second severe weather. they have one in the spring and one in the fall. we're just looking for a little bit of r to see that. mike: if you are out and about, you might run into a few scattered showers. this little area to the northwest, that is the area that has just a little bit of moisture associated with it and behind it, much cooler air as well.

this morning, this is how cold it was. now we're talking about high temperatures, clouds and afternoon sunshine. as you look out toward worcester county, we may have a few spots in the lower 60's. this is a big change from what we have been going through today. as you look to be south shore, a little sea breeze to talk about, but that cooler air is getting pushed through. and most of the cape b mid 60's for high temperatures tomorrow. a quick check on the tropics. we have two systems we are looking at. karl and lisa. karl is probably the most important. it looks like it will take tropical storm status and head into the atlantic. lisa is not much of anything. it is a tropical depression expected to die out there in the next 20 42 48 hours. not looking for much in the

heather: in your health tonight -- alcohol may not be as good for the heart as once thought. it part of a framingham heart study being done right here in mass alcohol even in moderation may increase the size of one of the heart's chambers, leaving people at risk for irregular heartbeat and other problems. participants reported how much alcohol they drink each week. the size of the art was measured and they were tested for atrial relation or irregular heartbeat. analysts found that having one
