the timing of those raindrops, when they impact our area a few minutes from now. rhondella? >> thanks, a.j. >> breaking news a boston. at least six people are injured after a fight in the theater district. the fight broke out around 2:15 this morning. the victims were either stabbed or cut with a bottle. one person suffered serious injuries but will recover. no arrests have been made. this man under arrest in connection with the hoic state. the gunman opened fire in a macy's department store. >> while the motive behind that attack friday is still unclear, we are learning more about the suspect. >> about 6:30 tonight, we arrested 20-year-old oak harbor man. >> a mass murderer caught on camera now also captured by police. >> his name is arcan cetin. >> investigators arresting a suspect in the murders of five people inside a washington mall. surveillance stills providing key evidence in the massive manhunt to find him.

northbound on the sidewalk, and i instantly recognized that is the person i'd just viewed on my computer. i did an abrupt u-turn, hit my lights, pulled my gun and myself and reserve deputy took the individual into custody. >> what i saw was that there was a gunman holding a rifle shooting, and he saw me, and i took off running. >> joe zavala and his wife were inside macy's when chaos broke out in the makeup department. they not only saw the gunman but the victims, too. floor. one was face down. a lot of blood, pool of blood on the ground. then there was another lady right next to her. i checked for a pulse. she -- she didn't have any. >> four women and one man all died. >> that was us in that mall last night. any one of us at any time. and it changed those families forever. we need to keep them in our prayers. it changed our community.

>> officers describe cetin as being in a zombie-like state when they arrested him. now what we're learning about him. a preliminary investigation found cetin emigrated from turkey. he's known to police. court records show three domestic violence assaults, charged against him according to the "seattle times." the victim was identified as his stepfather. he also had an arrest for drunk driving. new video released by police showing the deadly shooting that sparked days of protests. we want to take a moment to warn you that this video might be disturbing for some. the eye's diane cho explains the continuing controversy over the police shooting. >> police are releasing this dam camera video in the shooting death of keith lamont scott. scott backs away from the s.u.v., but it's not clear in this video if he's holding anything in his hands. seconds later, an officer opened

this is a different view of what happened as seen from one of the officer's body cameras. an attorney for scott's family questions whether scott's actions after he stepped out of the s.u.v. justified the shooting. >> what we do know is the moment mr. scott is shot, it appears as though he's not aggressively moving towards law enforcement. he's actually doing the opposite. he's passively stepping back. >> police also released these photos of the gun and marijuana they say scott had at the time. authorities say two plainclothes officers were trying to arrest someone else in the area when they saw scott rolling a marijuana blunt in his s.u.v. >> that was the first thing they saw. but that was not the priority. they were still focused on apprehending the suspect. when they see the weapon and they see the marijuana, they say, uh-oh, this is a safety issue for us and the public. we need to address this before we try to serve a warrant. >> police say it wasn't until an

begun up, that they put vests on identifying themselves as police officers. police say the man got out of the s.u.v. with the gun and backed away ignoring commands to drop it. >> it does not make sense to us how it's possible that this incident resulted in the loss of life. it just does not make sense, and it is not clear in the videos that were released. >> police also say scott's dna and fingerprints are on the loaded gun that was found at the scene. the officer who fired the shots was not wearing a body camera at the time. diane cho, wcvb, newscenter 5. >> boston police investigating a sexual assault in brighton. a woman saying she was attacked after she got into a car she thought belonged to a rideshare service. this all happening early saturday morning outside a bar on brighton avenue. police reminding rideshare customers to always confirm a ride before getting into a car. >> new this morning -- the water is back on in hamilton, but there is a boil water order in place. water service was cut off to the

it's unclear what caused the break, but crews worked all day saturday to fix it. we spoke with one resident whose business fortunately wasn't affected, but he says this is the first time he can remember this ever happening. >> about 2:30, i went to wash my hands, and there was no water. so i tried a different sink. and no water. 15 minutes later, a message came on the phone for the town about the broken water main. itee place until further notice. that means you can't drink or cook with the water unless it's boiled. you can use it for bathing. the town has to get water test results back before service is resumed. >> justice for vanessa marcotte. seven weeks after her murder, the town of princeton is searching for answers. these signs popping up as the murder remains unsolved. marcotte's neighbors are hoping the signs will bring in more information and help catch her killer. 27-year-old vanessa marcotte was

clear skies, light winds outside. nothing really to write home about until you get out into the nation's midsection. and lined up basically from the arrowhead of minnesota, land of a thousand lakes, right down into the big bend area of texas. we have some showers and some thunderstorms. this is our next system that arrives on our doorsteps in the form of a frontal boundary by tuesday. until then, high pressure runs the show. it's going to be gorgeous outside, although a little across the northeast, that's where it's coolest up into eastern canada, but you don't have to look too far off to the west to see a big change. see those 60's and 70's? it's warmer but also more humid as well. changes are coming in the next couple of days. high pressure for today, no problems. sunshine. sunshine for tomorrow as well. but it's monday night on into tuesday when we get some changes. the humidity increases.

recovering after being rescued from a trench in grafton. the man in a backhoe was working near a trench when it fell down an embankment. a special technical rescue team was called in to help get that man out. firefighters had to deal with the backhoe before they could get to the victim. >> he was stuck in there because there's no way of securing that payload. >> he is expected to be okay. the cause of the accident still under investigation. officials at a power station in ta thought to be an explosion, of course, this might be the wrong video here, actually a small electrical fire. the fire started in a breaker and caused a small but smoky fire. no one was hurt, but two workers were sent to the hospital to get checked out. the power station says it was strictly an equipment failure and no customers were affected. >> today, military leaders will dedicate an official memorial to the state's gold star families. the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff will be the keynote speaker at today's event at bicentennial park in fall river.

clear skies out there. bright and beautiful. no rain until we make it into the nation's midsection. that's a frontal boundary. ahead of it it's quite mild. temperatures in the 60's and 70's already west of the great lakes and down the mississippi valley. contrast that with our 40 and 50-degree reading. there's a warm front in there. that comes our way not tomorrow. tomorrow is equally as sunny but tuesday. it turns more humid. you'll notice a big change to the air. you'll also notice quite a bit of shower activity coming through. some beneficial rain looks like it will be happening first thing in the morning and lingering through a good chunk of the afternoon. so some steady showers more than likely. front doesn't work its way offshore until later in the afternoon and it may get stuck providing the cape and islands with more showers during the nighttime hours as well. highs 60 to 65 under sunshine.
